Con la Fabbrica del Mondo, Marco Paolini, affiancato da artisti, studiosi e comunità, porta in scena al Teatro Romano un laboratorio che cerca di immaginare un futuro che non sia la ripetizione del presente.
Immaginare ciò che non balza subito all’occhio, raccogliere testimoni e storie, parole poetiche e canzoni, costruire un filo emotivo di appartenenza, di comunità che idealmente leghi insieme l’acqua e la terra, che con sapienza e mestiere sono state modificate per l’uso agricolo prima e industriale poi, e oggi devono essere ripensate con lungimiranza per prevenire una grave crisi della risorsa acqua.
Questo è un racconto su generazioni di tagli e pettinature che dalla montagna al mare hanno dato forma alla terra governando l'acqua e su come quest'opera, questa azione, ci riguardi.
Bestiario Idrico parla di fiumi e bestie d’ogni genere, narra storie di vita biologica e sociale legate ai fiumi. Racconta dei conflitti e dei contratti che intorno all’acqua dei fiumi hanno dato forma a quel paesaggio che oggi riconosciamo come il nostro. Rende visibile il legame stretto tra le forme di governo dell’acqua e la qualità della vita sulle rive, non solo di una specie, ma dell’intero ecosistema.
Tutti viviamo in riva al mare, questa la sintesi della lezione che la Natura ci insegna. Di questo si occupa la Fabbrica del Mondo e da questa sintesi nasce l’idea di realizzare un bestiario idrico.
Bestiario Idrico parla di fiumi e bestie d’ogni genere, narra storie di vita biologica e sociale legate ai fiumi. Racconta dei conflitti e dei contratti che intorno all’acqua dei fiumi hanno dato forma a quel paesaggio che oggi riconosciamo come il nostro. Rende visibile il legame stretto tra le forme di governo dell’acqua e la qualità della vita sulle rive, non solo di una specie, ma dell’intero ecosistema.
With the World Factory, Marco Paolini, joined by artists, scholars, and communities, brings to the stage at the Roman Theater a laboratory that seeks to imagine a future that is not a repetition of the present.
Imagining what does not immediately catch the eye, gathering witnesses and stories, poetic words and songs, building an emotional thread of belonging, of a community that ideally connects water and land, which have been wisely and skillfully modified for agricultural use first and industrial use later, and today must be rethought with foresight to prevent a severe water resource crisis.
This is a tale of generations of cuts and hairstyles that from the mountains to the sea have shaped the land by governing water and how this work, this action, concerns us.
