Per la prima volta le Gallerie Mercatali ospitano il 31 gennaio e il 1 febbraio l’evento dedicato interamente al prodotto di punta della denominazione Valpolicella: Amarone Opera Prima.
La manifestazione, che prosegue la tradizione dell’evento Anteprima Amarone, è arrivata alla sua ventiduesima edizione. Un'occasione unica per scoprire e degustare il millesimo 2021 del grande Rosso della Valpolicella, oltre ad un’annata selezionata da ogni produttore.
L’Amarone, il "Grande Rosso" protagonista della manifestazione, sarà accompagnato per chi desidera da gustosi assaggi gastronomici ispirati alla tradizione locale.
Re della Valpolicella, raffinato vino da meditazione, l’Amarone è un passito unanimemente considerato tra i vini più pregiati a livello mondiale, numero uno tra i vini veronesi.
Secondo la tradizione, la denominazione di Amarone per indicare il Recioto Amaro, o Secco, nasce nella primavera del 1936 nella Cantina Sociale Valpolicella, ad Arbizzano, ad opera del capocantina Adelino Lucchese che, grazie al fortunato ritrovamento di una botte di Recioto dimenticata in cantina e spillando il Recioto “scampà” dal fusto di fermentazione, esclamò con grande ed entusiastica sorpresa: “Questo non è un Amaro, è un Amarone!”.
For the first time, the Mercatali Galleries will host on January 31 and February 1 the event dedicated entirely to the flagship product of the Valpolicella denomination: Amarone Opera Prima.
The event, which continues the tradition of the Anteprima Amarone event, has reached its twenty-second edition. A unique opportunity to discover and taste the 2021 vintage of the great Red of Valpolicella, along with a selected year from each producer.
The Amarone, the "Great Red" protagonist of the event, will be accompanied for those who desire by delicious gastronomic tastings inspired by local tradition.
King of Valpolicella, a refined meditation wine, Amarone is a passito universally considered among the finest wines in the world, number one among Veronese wines.
According to tradition, the name Amarone to indicate the Recioto Amaro, or Secco, was born in the spring of 1936 at the Valpolicella Social Winery in Arbizzano, thanks to the fortunate discovery of a barrel of Recioto forgotten in the cellar, and while drawing the “scampà” Recioto from the fermentation barrel, the cellar master Adelino Lucchese exclaimed with great and enthusiastic surprise: “This is not an Amaro, it is an Amarone!”
Zum ersten Mal beherbergen die Gallerien Mercatali am 31. Januar und 1. Februar die Veranstaltung, die ganz dem Flaggschiff der Denomination Valpolicella gewidmet ist: Amarone Opera Prima.
Die Veranstaltung, die die Tradition des Anteprima Amarone fortsetzt, hat ihre 22. Ausgabe erreicht. Eine einzigartige Gelegenheit, um den Jahrgang 2021 des großen Rotweins Valpolicella zu entdecken und zu verkosten, sowie eine ausgewählte Jahrgang von jedem Produzenten.
Der Amarone, der "Große Rote", der Protagonist der Veranstaltung, wird für diejenigen, die möchten, von schmackhaften gastronomischen Kostproben begleitet, inspiriert von der lokalen Tradition.
Als König der Valpolicella, ein raffinierter Meditationswein, gilt der Amarone als eines der weltweit edelsten Weine, die Nummer eins unter den Weinen aus Verona.
Laut Tradition entstand die Bezeichnung Amarone für den Recioto Amaro oder Secco im Frühjahr 1936 in der Cantina Sociale Valpolicella in Arbizzano, durch den Kellermeister Adelino Lucchese, der dank des glücklichen Fundes eines in der Keller vergessenen Fasses Recioto und dem Ausschank des vergorenen Recioto “scampà” aus dem Gärfass, mit großer und enthusiastischer Überraschung ausrief: „Das ist kein Amaro, das ist ein Amarone!”.
