Si apre sabato 20 giugno al Cinema Teatro San Massimo, la 45esima edizione di CINELÀ FESTIVAL DI CINEMA AFRICANO E OLTRE con la sezione Africa Short, dedicata alla migliore produzione di cortometraggi africani sotto le stelle del Cinema.
La rassegna torna anche quest’anno con una selezione di quattro lungometraggi, che offrono uno sguardo privilegiato sulle migrazioni interne ed esterne al continente africano, per raccontare la complessità delle partenze, degli arrivi e dei percorsi di permanenza.
Dal 20 al 27 giugno, per otto serate consecutive, il pubblico potrà assistere alla proiezione di 20 cortometraggi in concorso, selezionati tra le produzioni più significative degli ultimi tre anni. Il programma include inoltre tre lungometraggi fuori concorso presentati nell’ambito degli eventi cinema. Ad accompagnare la visione delle opere sarà il critico cinematografico Giuseppe Gariazzo, che offrirà al pubblico approfondimenti e spunti di lettura sui film in programma.
Il Festival non sarà solo film: prima delle proiezioni, ogni sera alle ore 19.30, gli spettatori che parteciperanno alle proiezioni dei film avranno l’opportunità di godere di un ricco palinsesto di eventi speciali, talk e presentazioni di libri che animeranno le otto serate, creando uno spazio di dialogo e confronto.
L'evento è organizzato da CMD, Fondazione Nigrizia, la Pia Società di Don Nicola Mazza e Progetto Mondo.
Opening on Saturday, June 20, at the Cinema Teatro San Massimo, is the 45th edition of CINELÀ AFRICAN CINEMA AND BEYOND FESTIVAL with the section Africa Short, dedicated to the best production of African short films under the stars of the cinema.
The showcase returns this year with a selection of four feature films that provide a privileged look at internal and external migrations in the African continent, telling the complexity of departures, arrivals, and the paths of stay.
From June 20 to June 27, for eight consecutive evenings, the audience will be able to attend the screening of 20 short films in competition, selected from the most significant productions of the last three years. The program also includes three feature films out of competition presented as part of cinema events. Accompanying the viewing of the works will be film critic Giuseppe Gariazzo, who will offer the audience insights and reading points about the films in the program.
The Festival will not only be about films: before the screenings, every evening at 7:30 p.m., spectators attending the film screenings will have the opportunity to enjoy a rich schedule of special events, talks, and book presentations that will animate the eight evenings, creating a space for dialogue and discussion.
The event is organized by CMD, Fondazione Nigrizia, the Pia Società di Don Nicola Mazza and Progetto Mondo.
Am Samstag, den 20. Juni, öffnet im Cinema Teatro San Massimo die 45. Ausgabe des CINELÀ FESTIVAL FÜR AFRO-KINO UND MEHR mit dem Abschnitt Africa Short, der der besten Produktion afrikanischer Kurzfilme unter dem Sternenhimmel des Kinos gewidmet ist.
Das Festival kehrt auch in diesem Jahr mit einer Auswahl von vier Spielfilmen zurück, die einen privilegierten Blick auf die internen und externen Migrationen auf dem afrikanischen Kontinent bieten, um die Komplexität von Abreisen, Ankünften und Aufenthaltswegen zu erzählen.
Vom 20. bis 27. Juni, an acht aufeinanderfolgenden Abenden, wird das Publikum die Möglichkeit haben, die Vorführung von 20 Wettbewerbs-Kurzfilmen zu verfolgen, die aus den bedeutendsten Produktionen der letzten drei Jahre ausgewählt wurden. Das Programm umfasst außerdem drei nicht im Wettbewerb gezeigte Spielfilme, die im Rahmen der Filmevents präsentiert werden. Begleitet wird die Sichtung der Werke von dem Filmkritiker Giuseppe Gariazzo, der dem Publikum Einblicke und Lesemöglichkeiten zu den gezeigten Filmen bieten wird.
Das Festival wird nicht nur Filme anbieten: Vor den Vorführungen wird es jeden Abend um 19.30 Uhr für die Zuschauer, die an den Filmvorführungen teilnehmen, die Möglichkeit geben, ein reichhaltiges Programm an speziellen Veranstaltungen, Talks und Buchpräsentationen zu genießen, die die acht Abende beleben und Raum für Dialog und Austausch schaffen.
Die Veranstaltung wird von CMD, der Stiftung Nigrizia, der Pia Gesellschaft von Don Nicola Mazza und Progetto Mondo organisiert.
