Sarà aperta al pubblico da sabato 20 aprile a domenica 24 novembre 2024, ai Giardini, all’Arsenale e in vari luoghi di Venezia, la 60. Esposizione Internazionale d’Arte, Stranieri Ovunque - Foreigners Everywhere, a cura di Adriano Pedrosa e prodotta dalla Biennale di Venezia.
In occasione della Mostra si parlerà di artisti che sono essi stessi stranieri, immigrati, espatriati, diasporici, émigrés, esiliati e rifugiati, in particolare di coloro che si sono spostati tra il Sud e il Nord del mondo.
La produzione di tali artisti sarà il fulcro della Biennale Arte e costituirà il Nucleo Contemporaneo dell’Esposizione.
La Mostra presenterà anche un Nucleo Storico, composto da opere del XX secolo provenienti dall’America Latina, dall’Africa, dall’Asia e dal mondo arabo.

The 60th International Art Exhibition, titled Stranieri Ovunque – Foreigners Everywhere, will open to the public from Saturday April 20 to Sunday November 24, 2024, at the Giardini and the Arsenale; it will be curated by Adriano Pedrosa and organised by La Biennale di Venezia.
The exhibition will focus on artists who are themselves foreigners, immigrants, expatriates, diasporic, émigrés, exiled, and refugees—especially those who have moved between the Global South and the Global North.
The production of these artists is the primary focus of this Biennale, and constitutes the International Exhibition’s Nucleo Contemporaneo.
The Exhibition will also feature a Nucleo Storico gathering works from 20th century Latin America, Africa, the Arab world, and Asia.
