Veneto e Sardegna, Monti Lessini Veronesi e Medio Campidano: le storie di due giovani “fuggitivi” da se stessi e dalla guerra. Nell’aprile del 1945, cedendo a uno sfogo insensato, Fortunato compie l’errore che segnerà per sempre la sua vita. Incapace di sopportare la vergogna, fugge dalla montagna veneta per “nascondersi” nella miniera sarda di Montevecchio. In terra di esilio, conoscerà Lussorio: entrambi pastori, entrambi piegati, prima sui campi, oggi nella miniera. Grazie all’amico, Fortunato farà i conti con se stesso e con la sua coscienza, e ritroverà il sorriso. Alessandro Anderloni, autore e narratore, dialoga con il liuto cantabile di Mauro Palmas e il pianoforte di Alessandro Foresti, in un racconto di parole e musica dove le montagne incontrano il mare, il passato il presente, la storia personale la storia universale, emblema del ripudio della guerra e del bisogno di pace.

Veneto and Sardinia, Monti Lessini Veronesi and Medio Campidano: the stories of two young “fugitives” from themselves and from war. In April 1945, giving in to a senseless outburst, Fortunato makes the mistake that will mark his life forever. Unable to bear the shame, he flees from the Venetian mountain to “hide” in the Sardinian mine of Montevecchio. In this land of exile, he will meet Lussorio: both shepherds, both bent, first in the fields, today in the mine. Thanks to his friend, Fortunato will come to terms with himself and with his conscience, and will find his smile again. Alessandro Anderloni, author and narrator, dialogues with Mauro Palmas' cantabile lute and Alessandro Foresti's piano, in a tale of words and music where the mountains meet the sea, the past meets the present, personal history the universal history, emblematic of the repudiation of war and the need for peace.

Veneto und Sardinien, Monti Lessini Veronesi und Medio Campidano: die Geschichten zweier junger „Flüchtlinge“ von sich selbst und vom Krieg. Im April 1945, überwältigt von einem sinnlosen Ausbruch, begeht Fortunato den Fehler, der sein Leben für immer prägen wird. Unfähig, die Scham zu ertragen, flieht er vom venetianischen Berg, um sich in der sardischen Mine von Montevecchio „zu verstecken“. Im Exil trifft er Lussorio: beide Schäfer, beide gebeugt, zuerst auf den Feldern, heute in der Mine. Dank seines Freundes wird Fortunato sich selbst und sein Gewissen konfrontieren und sein Lächeln wiederfinden. Alessandro Anderloni, Autor und Erzähler, dialogisiert mit dem Lautenspiel von Mauro Palmas und dem Klavier von Alessandro Foresti in einer Erzählung aus Worten und Musik, wo die Berge das Meer treffen, die Vergangenheit die Gegenwart, die persönliche Geschichte die universelle Geschichte, ein Symbol für die Ablehnung des Kriegs und das Bedürfnis nach Frieden.
