La XXIII Giornata Nazionale del Trekking Urbano invita a scoprire città e borghi con il passo lento, unendo cultura, paesaggio e movimento. Per l’edizione 2026 il filo conduttore è “San Francesco 1226–2026: sulle tracce dell’essenziale”, un invito a rileggere il suo messaggio attraverso il cammino e il rapporto con la natura e la comunità.
Il percorso prenderà avvio da San Pietro di Barbozza di Valdobbiadene, attraversando alcuni tratti dell’Anello del Prosecco Superiore tra vigneti, strade rurali e scorci panoramici sulle Colline del Prosecco di Conegliano Valdobbiadene. Un paesaggio in cui natura e lavoro dell’uomo si incontrano e raccontano ancora oggi il profondo legame tra la comunità e la propria terra.
Seguendo il ritmo dei passi e lasciando spazio ai suoni della natura. Il cammino raggiungerà l’Eremo di Sant’Alberto, antico luogo di culto e di pellegrinaggio, conosciuto nel corso dei secoli anche come luogo di ritiro spirituale di diversi eremiti dediti alla scelta di una vita raccolta e lontana dal superfluo.
La sosta a Sant’Alberto diventerà così un momento particolarmente significativo del percorso: un’occasione per riflettere sul valore del silenzio, della solitudine e della semplicità, richiamando il messaggio di San Francesco e il suo rapporto con il Creato.
Da qui si proseguirà verso il Convento dell’Immacolata di Lourdes, presenza francescana a San Pietro di Barbozza, dove vivono i Frati Minori Conventuali. Un luogo che richiama concretamente la figura di San Francesco, in continuità con il tema dell’essenzialità, della semplicità e del rapporto con il Creato che accompagna il trekking.
Il percorso continuerà poi verso la zona del Cartizze, un paesaggio unico, modellato nei secoli dal lavoro dell’uomo e dal rapporto con la natura, che insieme alle altre colline del territorio costituisce il paesaggio culturale riconosciuto Patrimonio Mondiale UNESCO.
Da qui si riprenderà il cammino verso il centro di San Pietro di Barbozza, dove il trekking si concluderà tornando al punto di partenza.
Un’esperienza per riscoprire, attraverso il passo lento, il silenzio e il paesaggio, la bellezza delle cose semplici e il valore di ciò che davvero conta.

The XXIII National Urban Trekking Day invites you to discover cities and villages at a slow pace, combining culture, landscape, and movement. For the 2026 edition, the central theme is “Saint Francis 1226–2026: Following the Traces of the Essential”, an invitation to reinterpret his message through the journey and the relationship with nature and the community.
The route will start from San Pietro di Barbozza di Valdobbiadene, crossing some sections of the Prosecco Superiore Ring among vineyards, rural roads, and scenic views over the Prosecco Hills of Conegliano Valdobbiadene. A landscape where nature and human work meet and still tell the deep bond between the community and its land.
Following the rhythm of footsteps and leaving space for the sounds of nature. The path will reach the Hermitage of Saint Albert, an ancient place of worship and pilgrimage, known over the centuries as a place of spiritual retreat for various hermits dedicated to choosing a simple life far from the superfluous.
The stop at Saint Albert will thus become a particularly significant moment of the journey: an opportunity to reflect on the value of silence, solitude, and simplicity, evoking Saint Francis's message and his relationship with Creation.
From here, we will continue towards the Convent of the Immaculate Conception of Lourdes, a Franciscan presence in San Pietro di Barbozza, where the Conventual Franciscan Friars live. A place that concretely recalls the figure of Saint Francis, in continuity with the theme of essentiality, simplicity, and the relationship with Creation that accompanies the trekking.
The path will then continue towards the Cartizze area, a unique landscape shaped over the centuries by human work and the relationship with nature, which, along with the other hills of the area, constitutes the cultural landscape recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
From there, the walk will resume towards the center of San Pietro di Barbozza, where the trekking will conclude by returning to the starting point.
An experience to rediscover, through slow steps, silence, and landscape, the beauty of simple things and the value of what truly matters.

Die XXIII Nationale Tag des Urbanen Trekking lädt ein, Städte und Dörfer in gemächlichem Tempo zu entdecken, indem Kultur, Landschaft und Bewegung miteinander verbunden werden. Für die Ausgabe 2026 ist der Leitsatz „San Francesco 1226–2026: auf den Spuren des Essenziellen”, eine Aufforderung, seine Botschaft durch den Weg und die Beziehung zur Natur und Gemeinschaft neu zu lesen.
Der Weg beginnt in San Pietro di Barbozza di Valdobbiadene, indem er einige Abschnitte des Anello des Prosecco Superiore durch Weinberge, Landstraßen und Panoramablicke über die Hügel des Prosecco von Conegliano Valdobbiadene führt. Eine Landschaft, in der Natur und menschliche Arbeit aufeinandertreffen und auch heute noch die tiefen Verbindungen zwischen der Gemeinschaft und ihrem Land erzählen.
Im Einklang mit dem Rhythmus der Schritte und dem Raum für die Klänge der Natur. Der Weg wird die Einsiedelei von Sant’Alberto erreichen, einen alten Ort der Anbetung und Pilgerfahrt, der im Laufe der Jahrhunderte auch als Rückzugsort für verschiedene Einsiedler bekannt war, die sich für ein Leben in Abgeschiedenheit und fern vom Überflüssigen entschieden.
Der Halt bei Sant’Alberto wird somit zu einem besonders bedeutenden Moment des Weges: eine Gelegenheit, über den Wert von Stille, Einsamkeit und Einfachheit nachzudenken und die Botschaft von San Francesco und seine Beziehung zur Schöpfung zu thematisieren.
Von hier aus geht es weiter zum Kloster der Unbefleckten von Lourdes, einem franziskanischen Standort in San Pietro di Barbozza, wo die Minderbrüder leben. Ein Ort, der konkret die Figur von San Francesco beschwört, in Kontinuität mit dem Thema der Essenzialität, Einfachheit und der Beziehung zur Schöpfung, die das Trekking begleitet.
Der Weg führt dann weiter zur Zone des Cartizze, einer einzigartigen Landschaft, die im Laufe der Jahrhunderte durch die Arbeit des Menschen und die Beziehung zur Natur geformt wurde und zusammen mit den anderen Hügeln des Gebiets die kulturelle Landschaft bildet, die als UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe anerkannt ist.
Von hier aus wird der Weg zurück in das Zentrum von San Pietro di Barbozza fortgesetzt, wo das Trekking endet und zum Ausgangspunkt zurückkehrt.
Eine Erfahrung, um durch langsames Gehen die Stille und die Landschaft, die Schönheit einfacher Dinge und den Wert dessen, was wirklich zählt, neu zu entdecken.
