Il Trekking Urbano è un evento annuale nato a Siena e diffuso su scala nazionale che, promuovendo il turismo slow, coniuga sport, arte, tradizione e desiderio di scoprire i luoghi più nascosti delle città.
Il tema della XXII edizione è: “Le Vie del Giubileo tra storia, cultura e spiritualità”.
Tra testimonianze d’arte, edifici sacri e scorci panoramici, il percorso offrirà l’occasione di riscoprire l’anima più autentica di Valdobbiadene, dove storia e fede si intrecciano in un dialogo continuo con il paesaggio.
Il percorso prenderà avvio da Piazza G. Marconi, per poi snodarsi tra gli scorci più suggestivi del centro e delle colline circostanti. Lungo il tragitto si potranno ammirare, dall’esterno, piccole chiesette e oratori, preziose testimonianze di fede e spiritualità.
Tra i luoghi simbolo non può mancare l’Oratorio di San Floriano, collocato in posizione panoramica sul colle omonimo e raggiungibile lungo la strada per Pianezze. Dal piazzale che circonda la chiesa si apre una splendida vista sul centro storico e sulle colline di Valdobbiadene, riconosciute Patrimonio dell’Umanità UNESCO.
Il percorso toccherà anche alcuni luoghi legati alla storia della seta, che tra la fine del Settecento e l’Ottocento hanno contribuito a rendere Valdobbiadene uno dei centri serici più importanti del Nord Italia. Un’eredità che oggi sopravvive nei racconti e negli edifici storici riconvertiti, ma che continua a testimoniare la vivacità economica e culturale del passato.
A conclusione del percorso, sarà possibile visitare il Museo dell’Opificio da Seta, situato presso l’ex Opificio di Villa dei Cedri: un luogo che valorizza la memoria industriale locale legata alla produzione della seta.

The Urban Trekking is an annual event that originated in Siena and has spread nationally, promoting slow tourism by combining sports, art, tradition, and the desire to discover the most hidden places in cities.
The theme of the XXII edition is: “The Jubilee Routes between history, culture, and spirituality”.
Through artistic testimonies, sacred buildings, and scenic views, the route will provide an opportunity to rediscover the most authentic soul of Valdobbiadene, where history and faith intertwine in a continuous dialogue with the landscape.
The route will start from Piazza G. Marconi and will wind through the most picturesque corners of the town and the surrounding hills. Along the way, visitors can admire small churches and chapels from the outside, precious testimonies of faith and spirituality.
Among the symbolic places, the Oratory of San Floriano cannot be missed, positioned in a panoramic location on the eponymous hill and reachable via the road to Pianezze. From the square surrounding the church, a splendid view opens up over the historic center and the hills of Valdobbiadene, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The route will also touch on some locations related to the history of silk, which, between the late 18th and 19th centuries, contributed to making Valdobbiadene one of the most important silk centers in Northern Italy. A heritage that survives today in stories and repurposed historic buildings, yet continues to testify to the economic and cultural vibrancy of the past.
At the end of the route, it will be possible to visit the Silk Factory Museum, located at the former Silk Factory of Villa dei Cedri: a place that enhances the local industrial memory related to silk production.

Das Urban Trekking ist eine jährliche Veranstaltung, die in Siena ins Leben gerufen wurde und national verbreitet ist. Dabei wird langsamer Tourismus gefördert, der Sport, Kunst, Tradition und das Verlangen nach Entdeckung der verborgensten Orte der Städte vereint.
Thema der XXII Ausgabe ist: „Die Wege des Jubiläums zwischen Geschichte, Kultur und Spiritualität“.
Zwischen Kunstzeugnissen, sakralen Gebäuden und panoramischen Ausblicken bietet der Weg die Gelegenheit, die authentischste Seele von Valdobbiadene wiederzuentdecken, wo Geschichte und Glaube in einem ständigen Dialog mit der Landschaft verknüpft sind.
Der Weg beginnt an der Piazza G. Marconi und schlängelt sich durch die malerischsten Ecken der Innenstadt und der umliegenden Hügel. Entlang der Strecke können von außen kleine Kapellen und Betstuben bewundert werden, wertvolle Zeugnisse von Glaube und Spiritualität.
Zu den symbolträchtigen Orten gehört das Oratorium San Floriano, das sich in panoramischer Lage auf dem gleichnamigen Hügel befindet und über die Straße nach Pianezze erreicht werden kann. Vom Platz, der die Kirche umgibt, bietet sich ein herrlicher Blick auf die Altstadt und die Hügel von Valdobbiadene, die zum UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe erklärt wurden.
Der Weg wird auch einige Orte berühren, die mit der Geschichte der Seide verbunden sind, die zwischen Ende des 18. und 19. Jahrhunderts dazu beigetragen hat, Valdobbiadene zu einem der wichtigsten Seidenzentren Norditaliens zu machen. Ein Erbe, das heute in Erzählungen und umgebauten historischen Gebäuden überlebt, aber weiterhin die wirtschaftliche und kulturelle Lebendigkeit der Vergangenheit dokumentiert.
Am Ende des Weges besteht die Möglichkeit, das Museum des Seidenwerks zu besuchen, das in der ehemaligen Seidenfabrik Villa dei Cedri untergebracht ist: ein Ort, der das lokale industrielle Gedächtnis in Verbindung mit der Seidenproduktion wertschätzt.
