La Gnaga si festeggia ogni anno nel primo fine settimana di febbraio. E’ un evento amato da grandi e piccini, una festa per tutte le età che celebra gli antichi Carnevali delle valli alpine. Il ritrovo è a Fornesighe, borgo gioiello della Val di Zoldo nelle Dolomiti, un paese che ha conservato ancora tutto il fascino di un tempo.
Il sabato è dedicato ai bambini, con divertenti laboratori manuali presso l’ex latteria del paese, oggi sede dell’Associazione organizzatrice della manifestazione “Al Piodech zoldan”. La domenica si trasforma in una grande festa, con la sfilata della Gnaga, capitanata dal Matazin e da l’Om salvarech, personaggi del Carnevale tradizionale. Tra i rustici del paese si potrà assistere alle dimostrazioni di scultura degli artigiani e artisti locali, degustando un buon gelato zoldano.
La Gnaga si conclude con l’elezione dei vincitori del Concorso maschere lignee dei Carnevali alpini, maschere divertenti e fantasiose che interpretano il tema dell’anno, e che il pubblico stesso può votare. Un evento che da sempre entusiasma e intrattiene visitatori e valligiani, una festa tra arte, artigianato e tradizioni.
Durante la domenica, per raggiungere il paese di Fornesighe è messa a disposizione una navetta con partenza dalla frazione di Ciamber, zona artigianale.
The Gnaga is celebrated every year on the first weekend of February. It is an event loved by young and old alike, a festival for all ages that celebrates the ancient Carnivals of the alpine valleys. The gathering is in Fornesighe, a jewel of a village in Val di Zoldo in the Dolomites, a place that has still preserved all the charm of the past.
Saturday is dedicated to children, with fun workshops at the former dairy of the village, now the headquarters of the organizing association “Al Piodech zoldan.” Sunday turns into a great celebration, featuring the parade of the Gnaga, led by the Matazin and the Om salvarech, characters from the traditional Carnival. Among the rustic homes of the village, visitors can enjoy demonstrations of sculpture by local artisans and artists while tasting a good Zoldano gelato.
The Gnaga concludes with the election of the winners of the Wooden Masks Competition of the Alpine Carnivals, fun and imaginative masks that interpret the theme of the year, which the public can vote for. An event that has always thrilled and entertained visitors and locals, a celebration of art, craftsmanship, and traditions.
On Sunday, to reach the village of Fornesighe, a shuttle service is available departing from the Ciamber district, an industrial area.
Die Gnaga wird jedes Jahr am ersten Wochenende im Februar gefeiert. Es ist ein von Groß und Klein geliebtes Ereignis, ein Fest für alle Altersgruppen, das die alten Karnevale der Alpen Täler feiert. Der Treffpunkt ist in Fornesighe, einem Juwel-Dorf im Val di Zoldo in den Dolomiten, einem Ort, der den alten Charme bewahrt hat.
Der Samstag ist den Kindern gewidmet, mit lustigen Bastelworkshops in der ehemaligen Molkerei des Dorfes, die heute Sitz des Veranstalters "Al Piodech zoldan" ist. Der Sonntag verwandelt sich in ein großes Fest, mit der Parade der Gnaga, angeführt von Matazin und l'Om salvarech, Figuren des traditionellen Karnevals. Zwischen den rustikalen Gebäuden des Dorfes kann man den Kunsthandwerkern und Künstlern bei ihren Skulpturvorführungen zuschauen und ein köstliches zoldan Gelato genießen.
Die Gnaga endet mit der Wahl der Gewinner des Wettbewerbs um die Holzmasken der alpinen Karnevale, unterhaltsamen und fantasievollen Masken, die das Thema des Jahres interpretieren und die auch vom Publikum gewählt werden können. Ein Ereignis, das seit jeher Besucher und Einheimische begeistert und unterhält, ein Fest zwischen Kunst, Handwerk und Traditionen.
Am Sonntag steht ein Shuttle zur Verfügung, um das Dorf Fornesighe von der Fraktion Ciamber, dem Handwerksgebiet, zu erreichen.
