I Paaruoi hanno una tradizione antichissima. Sono diversi i paesi alpini dove si celebra l’arrivo del nuovo anno attorno al fuoco, bruciando simbolicamente “la vecia” ossia l’anno appena passato. In Val di Zoldo il falò dei Paaruoi si svolge durante la serata del 5 gennaio, una volta presso tutti i paesi della vallata.
Oggi il falò si accende a Ciamber, a Forno di Val di Zoldo, un’occasione per festeggiare insieme l’Epifania, degustare i buon piatti della tradizione, e brindare con una grappa artigianale. Riscaldandosi attorno ai ceppi, con un vin brulè in mano, si aspetta l’accensione della grande catasta di legno.
I bambini attenderanno l’arrivo della Befana, con i doni a loro destinati. Seduta su una luoza, la slitta zoldana, approderà a Ciamber dopo il lungo fantastico viaggio che da sempre si racconta ai più piccoli. Come dice la canzone: la Befana vien di notte, con le scarpe tutte rotte, il vestito alla romana, viva viva la Befana!
La serata si concluderà con musica dal vivo e con l’estrazione dei premi della lotteria, i cui proventi saranno destinati per il sociale. Una festa divertente, per famiglie e amici, per salutare insieme il nuovo anno.
The Paaruoi have an ancient tradition. There are several alpine villages where the arrival of the new year is celebrated around the fire, symbolically burning “la vecia,” or the year just passed. In Val di Zoldo, the Paaruoi bonfire takes place on the evening of January 5th, once in all the towns of the valley.
Today, the bonfire is lit in Ciamber, in Forno di Val di Zoldo, an opportunity to celebrate Epiphany together, taste the good dishes of tradition, and toast with artisanal grappa. While warming up around the logs, with a mulled wine in hand, people wait for the lighting of the large wood pile.
Children will await the arrival of the Befana, with the gifts intended for them. Sitting on a luoza, the Zoldana sleigh, she will arrive in Ciamber after the long fantastic journey that has always been told to the little ones. As the song goes: the Befana comes at night, with shoes all torn, dressed like a Roman, long live the Befana!
The evening will conclude with live music and the drawing of lottery prizes, the proceeds of which will be donated to social causes. A fun celebration for families and friends to greet the new year together.
Die Paaruoi haben eine uralte Tradition. In verschiedenen Alpenländern wird der Neujahrsbeginn am Feuer gefeiert, indem symbolisch „la vecia“, das heißt das gerade vergangene Jahr, verbrannt wird. Im Val di Zoldo findet das Feuer der Paaruoi am Abend des 5. Januar statt, einst in allen Dörfern des Tales.
Heute wird das Feuer in Ciamber, in Forno di Val di Zoldo, entzündet, eine Gelegenheit, gemeinsam die Epiphanie zu feiern, die köstlichen Gerichte der Tradition zu probieren und mit einem handwerklichen Grappa anzustoßen. Um sich an den Scheiten zu wärmen, mit einem Glühwein in der Hand, wartet man auf die Entzündung des großen Holzstapels.
Die Kinder werden auf die Ankunft der Befana warten, mit den Geschenken, die für sie bestimmt sind. Auf einer luoza, dem Zoldaner Schlitten, wird sie nach ihrer langen fantastischen Reise, die seit jeher den Kleinen erzählt wird, in Ciamber ankommen. Wie das Lied sagt: die Befana kommt in der Nacht, mit den Schuhen ganz kaputt, im römischen Kleid, viva viva die Befana!
Der Abend wird mit Live-Musik und der Ziehung der Gewinne der Lotterie enden, deren Erlöse für soziale Zwecke verwendet werden. Ein unterhaltsames Fest für Familien und Freunde, um gemeinsam das neue Jahr zu begrüßen.
