In occasione della rassegna “Tomaso 700”, dedicata a Tomaso da Modena, gli Uffici IAT di Treviso propongono un itinerario alla scoperta dei luoghi della città che conservano testimonianze della sua attività artistica.

Il percorso accompagna i visitatori nel cuore del centro storico, attraverso chiese, edifici storici e luoghi di particolare interesse, per approfondire la figura e l’opera di uno dei protagonisti della pittura trecentesca. Tra le principali tappe figurano la chiesa di San Nicolò, la Sala del Capitolo, la chiesa di San Francesco e la chiesa di Santa Lucia, con particolare attenzione alle opere e alle testimonianze riconducibili a Tomaso da Modena.

L’itinerario comprende inoltre una visita alla sezione affreschi dei Musei Civici di Santa Caterina, dove è conservato il celebre ciclo dedicato a Sant’Orsola, una delle testimonianze più significative della presenza dell’artista a Treviso. Il percorso si completa con alcuni luoghi del centro storico legati alla sua produzione e alla tradizione artistica trevigiana.

Un’occasione per conoscere la città attraverso l’arte e riscoprire il patrimonio trecentesco di Treviso, seguendo le tracce lasciate da Tomaso da Modena.

On the occasion of the exhibition “Tomaso 700”, dedicated to Tomaso da Modena, the IAT Offices of Treviso propose a tour to discover the places in the city that preserve evidence of his artistic activity.

The route guides visitors through the heart of the historic center, through churches, historical buildings, and places of particular interest, to deepen the figure and work of one of the protagonists of 14th-century painting. Among the main stops are the church of San Nicolò, the Chapter Room, the church of San Francesco and the church of Santa Lucia, with particular attention to the works and the testimonies related to Tomaso da Modena.

The itinerary also includes a visit to the fresco section of the Musei Civici di Santa Caterina, where the famous cycle dedicated to Saint Ursula is preserved, one of the most significant testimonies of the artist's presence in Treviso. The route is completed with several places in the historic center linked to his production and the artistic tradition of Treviso.

Anlässlich der Ausstellung “Tomaso 700”, die Tomaso da Modena gewidmet ist, bieten die IAT-Büros in Treviso einen Rundgang zu den Orten der Stadt an, die Zeugnisse seiner künstlerischen Tätigkeit bewahren.

Der Weg führt die Besucher ins Herz der Altstadt, vorbei an Kirchen, historischen Gebäuden und besonders interessanten Orten, um die Figur und das Werk eines der Protagonisten der Malerei des 14. Jahrhunderts näher zu erkunden. Zu den wichtigsten Stationen gehören die Kirche San Nicolò, der Kapitelraum, die Kirche San Francesco und die Kirche Santa Lucia, mit besonderem Augenmerk auf die Werke und die Zeugnisse, die mit Tomaso da Modena in Verbindung stehen.

Der Rundgang umfasst zudem einen Besuch der Fresken-Abteilung des Städtischen Museums Santa Caterina, wo der berühmte Zyklus zu Ehren von Sant'Orsola aufbewahrt wird, eines der bedeutendsten Zeugnisse der Präsenz des Künstlers in Treviso. Der Weg wird ergänzt durch einige Orte der Altstadt, die mit seiner Produktion und der künstlerischen Tradition von Treviso verbunden sind.
