Dal 19 al 22 marzo 2026 torna a Treviso il Festival Treviso Giallo, l’evento letterario dedicato al genere giallo e noir. Giunto alla ottava edizione, il festival si distingue per il suo approccio scientifico e interdisciplinare e per il coinvolgimento di università, studiosi e istituzioni culturali italiane e straniere.
Il Museo Luigi Bailo ospita gli incontri principali della rassegna, insieme ad alcune delle principali librerie della città, con dibattiti, presentazioni e momenti di approfondimento dedicati al crime come strumento di lettura della società contemporanea. Il tema scelto per quest'edizione è “La menzogna. Quando la verità mente: fake news, media e indagine scientifica”, un percorso di riflessione sulle molte forme dell’inganno, dalla disinformazione digitale ai depistaggi giudiziari, fino al ruolo dei media e dell’immaginario narrativo nella costruzione della percezione della realtà.
Il programma propone incontri con scrittori, giornalisti ed esperti del settore, offrendo al pubblico occasioni di confronto su temi di grande attualità legati alla comunicazione, alla giustizia e alla società.
Organizzato da Accademia Veneta in collaborazione con Linea Edizioni e il Comune di Treviso, e gemellato con Trieste True Crime, Treviso Giallo trasforma la città in un palcoscenico di suspense e riflessione, dove la letteratura diventa strumento di approfondimento culturale e sociale.
From March 19 to 22, 2026, the Treviso Giallo Festival returns to Treviso, the literary event dedicated to the crime and noir genres. Now in its eighth edition, the festival is distinguished by its scientific and interdisciplinary approach, and by the involvement of universities, scholars, and cultural institutions from Italy and abroad.
The Luigi Bailo Museum hosts the main events of the showcase, along with some of the city’s main bookstores, featuring debates, presentations, and moments of in-depth analysis dedicated to crime as a tool for reading contemporary society. The theme chosen for this edition is “The Lie. When Truth Lies: fake news, media, and scientific investigation”, a pathway of reflection on the many forms of deception, from digital disinformation to judicial misdirection, to the role of media and narrative imagination in shaping the perception of reality.
The program proposes meetings with writers, journalists, and industry experts, offering the public opportunities for discussion on very topical themes related to communication, justice, and society.
Organized by the Venetian Academy in collaboration with Linea Edizioni and the Municipality of Treviso, and twinned with Trieste True Crime, Treviso Giallo transforms the city into a stage of suspense and reflection, where literature becomes a tool for cultural and social deepening.
Vom 19. bis 22. März 2026 kehrt das Festival Treviso Giallo nach Treviso zurück, das literarische Ereignis, das dem Genre Krimi und Noir gewidmet ist. In seiner achten Auflage zeichnet sich das Festival durch seinen wissenschaftlichen und interdisziplinären Ansatz sowie durch die Einbeziehung von Universitäten, Wissenschaftlern und kulturellen Institutionen aus Italien und dem Ausland aus.
Das Museum Luigi Bailo beherbergt die Hauptveranstaltungen der Reihe, zusammen mit einigen der wichtigsten Buchhandlungen der Stadt, mit Debatten, Präsentationen und Vertiefungsmomenten, die dem Krimi als Mittel zur Analyse der zeitgenössischen Gesellschaft gewidmet sind. Das für diese Ausgabe gewählte Thema ist „Die Lüge. Wenn die Wahrheit lügt: Fake News, Medien und wissenschaftliche Forschung“, ein Reflexionsweg über die vielen Formen der Täuschung, von digitaler Fehlinformation über gerichtliche Irreführungen bis hin zur Rolle der Medien und der narrativen Imagination beim Bau der Wahrnehmung der Realität.
Das Programm bietet Begegnungen mit Schriftstellern, Journalisten und Experten aus dem Bereich und bietet dem Publikum Gelegenheiten zum Austausch über aktuelle Themen, die mit Kommunikation, Justiz und Gesellschaft verbunden sind.
Organisiert von der Accademia Veneta in Zusammenarbeit mit Linea Edizioni und der Gemeinde Treviso und mit Trieste True Crime verbunden, verwandelt Treviso Giallo die Stadt in eine Bühne für Spannung und Reflexion, wo die Literatur zum Mittel der kulturellen und sozialen Vertiefung wird.
