Treviso ha basato la sua storia, il suo sviluppo ed il suo sistema di difesa sull'acqua, ecco perché è innegabile che i suoi corsi d'acqua abbiano da sempre rappresentato un importantissimo punto di forza della città. Indimenticabili sono le figure, ad esempio, delle "lavandere", che lavavano i panni nelle pulite acque di Treviso oppure i numerosi mulini presenti tutt'oggi lungo i canali che, soprattutto durante la Serenissima Repubblica, macinavano giorno e notte.
Ecco che, come da tradizione nel periodo natalizio, l'Ufficio IAT Treviso Centro organizza delle visite guidate legate proprio a questa tematica. A Natale, infatti, i corsi d'acqua sono ancora più suggestivi grazie alle luminarie, che da anni caratterizzano queste aree nel periodo più magico dell'anno. Durante le visite guidate, della durata di due ore circa, si andranno a scoprire gli scorci più suggestivi della città e gli aspetti più interessanti del legame che unisce Treviso proprio con le acque che lo attraversano. Da Ponte Dante, citato nella Divina Commedia "Là dove Sile e Cagnan s'accompagna"; ai Buranelli, dove in passato c'era il deposito del pesce per il secolare mercato e dove le donne lavavano i panni. Tappa immancabile sarà poi l'isola artificiale della Pescheria, dove si tiene regolarmente il mercato del pesce.
Tutte le visite prevedono la partenza alle ore 15:30 dall'Ufficio IAT di Treviso centro.

Unforgettable are the figures, for example, of the "washerwomen," who washed clothes in the clean waters of Treviso, or the numerous mills still present today along the canals that, especially during the Most Serene Republic, milled day and night.
Thus, as is tradition during the Christmas season, the IAT Office in Treviso Centro organizes guided tours related to this theme. At Christmas, in fact, the waterways are even more enchanting thanks to the lights that have characterized these areas for years during the most magical time of the year. During the guided tours, lasting about two hours, participants will discover the most picturesque views of the city and the interesting aspects of the connection between Treviso and the waters that flow through it. From Ponte Dante, mentioned in the Divine Comedy "Where Sile and Cagnan meet"; to the Buranelli, where in the past there was a fish depot for the centuries-old market and where women washed clothes. A must-visit will then be the artificial island of the Pescheria, where the fish market is regularly held.
All tours depart at 3:30 PM from the IAT Office in Treviso Centro.
Treviso hat seine Geschichte, seine Entwicklung und sein Verteidigungssystem auf Wasser aufgebaut, weshalb es unbestreitbar ist, dass seine Gewässer seit jeher eine wichtige Stärke der Stadt darstellen. Unvergesslich sind die Figuren, zum Beispiel, der "Waschfrauen", die die Wäsche im sauberen Wasser von Treviso wuschen, oder die zahlreichen Mühlen, die noch heute entlang der Kanäle stehen und die insbesondere während der Serenissima Republik Tag und Nacht Mahlzeiten mahlten.
So organisiert das IAT-Büro Treviso Zentrum, wie es Tradition während der Weihnachtszeit ist, geführte Besichtigungen zu diesem Thema. Zu Weihnachten sind die Gewässer aufgrund der Lichter, die seit Jahren diese Gebiete in der magischsten Zeit des Jahres kennzeichnen, noch beeindruckender. Während der geführten Besichtigungen, die etwa zwei Stunden dauern, werden die schönsten Winkel der Stadt und die interessantesten Aspekte der Verbindung, die Treviso mit den Gewässern, die es durchqueren, hat, entdeckt. Von Ponte Dante, der in der Göttlichen Komödie erwähnt wird: "Dort wo sich Sile und Cagnan begegnen"; zu den Buranelli, wo sich früher die Fischlager für den jahrhundertealten Markt befand und wo die Frauen die Wäsche wuschen. Ein unentbehrlicher Halt wird die künstliche Insel der Pescheria sein, wo regelmäßig der Fischmarkt stattfindet.
