Negli anni Settanta le radio libere aprono nuovi spazi di partecipazione, dando voce a persone comuni e raccontando il territorio, il lavoro, le lotte sociali, i diritti, l’ambiente e la vita quotidiana delle comunità. Radio CiRisuona riporta oggi quelle voci al presente attraverso l’archivio sonoro di Radio Treviso 103, trasformando le registrazioni storiche in un’esperienza di ascolto tra memoria e contemporaneità.
Il progetto nasce dal lavoro di raccolta, digitalizzazione e studio critico di 283 cassette conservate presso l’archivio ISTRESCO, nell’ambito di una collaborazione con l’Università Ca’ Foscari Venezia. L’installazione propone frammenti audio, interviste e interventi dei protagonisti dell’epoca, selezionati per restituire il carattere partecipativo e comunitario della radiofonia libera.
La fruizione prevede sia momenti di ascolto collettivo, sia postazioni individuali con cuffie. È inoltre previsto uno spazio dedicato alla raccolta di testimonianze, ricordi e riflessioni dei visitatori, creando così un dialogo tra le voci del passato e quelle del presente.
In the Seventies, free radios opened new spaces for participation, giving voice to everyday people and telling about the territory, work, social struggles, rights, the environment, and the daily life of communities. Radio CiRisuona brings those voices back to the present through the sound archive of Radio Treviso 103, transforming the historical recordings into a listening experience that bridges memory and contemporaneity.
The project arises from the work of collecting, digitizing, and critically studying 283 cassettes preserved at the ISTRESCO archive, as part of a collaboration with Ca’ Foscari University of Venice. The installation offers audio fragments, interviews, and contributions from the era's protagonists, selected to restore the participatory and community character of free radio broadcasting.
The experience includes both moments of group listening and individual stations with headphones. There is also a space dedicated to collecting testimonies, memories, and reflections from visitors, thus creating a dialogue between the voices of the past and those of the present.
In den siebziger Jahren eröffneten freie Radios neue Räume der Teilnahme, gaben gewöhnlichen Menschen eine Stimme und berichteten über das Territorium, die Arbeit, die sozialen Kämpfe, die Rechte, die Umwelt und das tägliche Leben der Gemeinschaften. Radio CiRisuona bringt heute diese Stimmen durch das Klangarchiv von Radio Treviso 103 zurück in die Gegenwart und verwandelt historische Aufnahmen in ein Hörerlebnis zwischen Erinnerung und Gegenwart.
Das Projekt entsteht aus der Arbeit der Sammlung, Digitalisierung und kritischen Studie von 283 Kassetten, die im Archiv ISTRESCO aufbewahrt werden, im Rahmen einer Zusammenarbeit mit der Universität Ca’ Foscari Venedig. Die Installation bietet Audiofragmente, Interviews und Beiträge der Protagonisten der damaligen Zeit, die ausgewählt wurden, um den partizipativen und gemeinschaftlichen Charakter des freien Rundfunks wiederzugeben.
Die Nutzung sieht sowohl Momente des kollektiven Zuhörens als auch Einzelarbeitsplätze mit Kopfhörern vor. Zudem ist ein Raum für die Sammlung von Zeugenaussagen, Erinnerungen und Reflexionen der Besucher vorgesehen, um einen Dialog zwischen den Stimmen der Vergangenheit und der Gegenwart zu schaffen.
