Descrizione
An a cappella concert dedicated to Christmas and its many musical expressions. “The Christmas you don't expect” brings to the Church of San Teonisto the voices of the Venice Vocal Jam, a group composed of Anna Acerboni, Silvia Marchesan, Elisa Bortoluzzo, Arianna Natural, Oscar Chellin, Emiliano Conte, and Marco Bosello.
The program offers a journey through traditions, eras, and different cultures, relating distant musical places and paths that share the atmospheres tied to the Christmas season.
The voice becomes the center of the performance and the instrument through which to traverse different repertoires and sonorities. The absence of instrumental accompaniment highlights the intertwining of vocal parts and the differing expressive possibilities of ensemble singing.
This event is part of the fifth season of Landscapes, the series that combines music, theater, and meetings, which dedicates one of the central cores of its program to the musical repertoire.
