Giudizi incrociati, mostra satirica del vignettista trevigiano Beppe Fantin.
Ci sono artisti che disegnano il mondo, e altri che lo interrogano. Beppe Fantin appartiene a questa seconda specie: quella rara, inquieta, che usa l’acquerello come una lente per mettere a fuoco ciò che spesso preferiremmo non vedere. Le sue vignette – una sessantina, raccolte in questa mostra alla Barchessa di Villa Quaglia – sembrano pagine strappate da un diario segreto della contemporaneità.
Politica, religione, società: tutto passa sotto il suo sguardo, che non giudica ma svela, che non consola ma illumina. Sono immagini sospese, lampi di ironia e disincanto che incidono senza mai scadere nell’offesa gratuita. Il tratto di Fantin ha la leggerezza dell’acqua e la precisione di una lama. La satira, per lui, non è un gioco né un capriccio: è un atto di libertà, un gesto che pretende misura e responsabilità. Rifugge la volgarità, evita il colpo di scena, preferisce la sottigliezza alla demolizione.
L’inaugurazione della mostra si tiene Sabato 16 maggio alle ore 18:00.

Crossed judgments, a satirical show by the Treviso cartoonist Beppe Fantin.
There are artists who draw the world, and others who question it. Beppe Fantin belongs to the second kind: the rare, restless kind, who uses watercolor as a lens to focus on what we often prefer not to see. His cartoons – about sixty, collected in this exhibition at the Barchessa di Villa Quaglia – seem like pages torn from a secret diary of contemporary life.
Politics, religion, society: everything passes under his gaze, which does not judge but reveals, which does not comfort but illuminates. They are suspended images, flashes of irony and disenchantment that impact without ever descending into gratuitous offense. Fantin's stroke has the lightness of water and the precision of a blade. Satire, for him, is neither a game nor a whim: it is an act of freedom, a gesture that demands measure and responsibility. It shuns vulgarity, avoids plot twists, and prefers subtlety to demolition.
The opening of the exhibition will be held Saturday, May 16 at 6:00 p.m..

Kreuzurteile, eine satirische Ausstellung des Trevisaner Karikaturisten Beppe Fantin.
Es gibt Künstler, die die Welt zeichnen, und andere, die sie hinterfragen. Beppe Fantin gehört zu dieser zweiten Sorte: der seltenen, unruhigen, die Aquarell als Linse nutzt, um das, was wir oft lieber nicht sehen möchten, scharf zu fokussieren. Seine Karikaturen – ungefähr sechzig, gesammelt in dieser Ausstellung in der Barchessa di Villa Quaglia – scheinen Seiten aus einem geheimen Tagebuch der Gegenwart zu sein.
Politik, Religion, Gesellschaft: alles wird durch seinen Blick betrachtet, der nicht urteilt, sondern offenbart, der nicht tröstet, sondern erleuchtet. Es sind schwebende Bilder, Blitze von Ironie und Enttäuschung, die eindringen, ohne jemals in kostenlose Beleidigung abzugleiten. Fantins Strich hat die Leichtigkeit von Wasser und die Präzision eines Schneidens. Satire ist für ihn kein Spiel oder ein Launen: es ist ein Akt der Freiheit, eine Geste, die Maß und Verantwortung verlangt. Er meidet Vulgarität, vermeidet den gelungenen Schock und bevorzugt Subtilität gegenüber Zerstörung.
Die Eröffnung der Ausstellung findet am Samstag, den 16. Mai um 6.00 p.m. statt.
