Descrizione

On the occasion of the Venetian Villa Days, Villa Onigo opens its doors for a journey dedicated to the history of the residence and the transformations that have marked its use over the centuries.

The villa, dating back to the 16th and 17th centuries, was the residence of the Counts Onigo and later housed a center dedicated to silkworm breeding, an activity closely linked to the economic and rural history of the area.

Today, Villa Onigo has once again become a focal point for the community, with spaces dedicated to cultural activities and the library. The visit thus allows one to explore the different phases of the building's life, relating the historic residence to the functions it has assumed over time.

The journey is also part of the itinerary of the Agritour dei Cavedin and concludes with a moment dedicated to local flavors, featuring a tasting of wines and typical products of the area.
