Arturo è un agente immobiliare siciliano, solo, goloso e disilluso. La sua vita monotona trova finalmente una scintilla grazie alla sua unica, vera passione: la pasticceria siciliana. È proprio davanti a un vassoio di cannoli che incontra la sua anima gemella, Flora. Lei è tutto ciò che ha sempre sognato: bella, spiritosa e brillante. Come se non bastasse, è anche una pasticcera!
