Venerdì 6 marzo 2025 alle ore 20.30 si terrà presso la Sala Riunioni della Biblioteca Civica di Thiene, l'incontro Sguardi Mariani, organizzato dall'Ufficio del Turismo Comune di Thiene, per conoscere le principali opere d'arte dedicate a Maria presenti a Thiene.
A Thiene un approfondimento culturale dedicato all'analisi delle testimonianze artistiche e devozionali mariane presenti nel territorio. L'iniziativa si inserisce nel quadro delle celebrazioni per il VI Centenario delle apparizioni della Madonna a Monte Berico, un anniversario di portata storica.
L'evento approfondisce la peculiare identità storica di Thiene: pur radicata nella Diocesi di Padova, la città manifesta profondi legami artistici e devozionali con Vicenza. Questo intreccio culturale emerge con chiarezza nelle opere cittadine, che testimoniano un dialogo secolare tra le due tradizioni.
La conferenza, a cura dell'Ufficio Turismo, propone un approfondimento sulle principali effigi dedicate a Maria, custodite sia negli edifici sacri sia in contesti civili, mettendo in luce attraverso aneddoti e i legami con il capoluogo di provincia o le curiosità alla base della loro origine.
Un appuntamento per riscoprire le radici storiche di Thiene attraverso il linguaggio dell'arte sacra, in un anno di eccezionale valore simbolico per il territorio veneto.

Friday, March 6, 2025 at 8:30 PM will take place at the Meeting Room of the Thiene Civic Library, the meeting Marian Perspectives, organized by the Tourism Office of the Municipality of Thiene, to learn about the main works of art dedicated to Mary present in Thiene.
In Thiene, a cultural deepening dedicated to the analysis of the artistic and devotional Marian testimonies present in the territory. The initiative is part of the celebrations for the VI Centenary of the apparitions of the Madonna at Monte Berico, a historically significant anniversary.
The event deepens the unique historical identity of Thiene: although rooted in the Diocese of Padua, the city shows deep artistic and devotional ties with Vicenza. This cultural intertwining emerges clearly in the city’s works, which testify to a centuries-old dialogue between the two traditions.
The conference, organized by the Tourism Office, offers an in-depth look at the main representations dedicated to Mary, preserved both in sacred buildings and in civic contexts, shedding light on anecdotes and the connections with the provincial capital or the curiosities behind their origin.
An opportunity to rediscover the historical roots of Thiene through the language of sacred art, in a year of exceptional symbolic value for the Veneto territory.

Freitag, 6. März 2025 um 20:30 Uhr findet in der Besprechungsraum der Stadtbibliothek Thiene das Treffen Marianische Blicke statt, organisiert vom Tourismusamt der Gemeinde Thiene, um die wichtigsten Kunstwerke zu Maria in Thiene kennenzulernen.
In Thiene gibt es eine kulturelle Vertiefung, die sich der Analyse der künstlerischen und devotionshaften marianischen Zeugnisse im Gebiet widmet. Die Initiative ist Teil der Feierlichkeiten zum VI. Jubiläum der Erscheinungen der Madonna auf dem Monte Berico, ein geschichtsträchtiges Jubiläum.
Die Veranstaltung vertieft die besondere historische Identität von Thiene: obwohl sie in der Diözese Padua verwurzelt ist, zeigt die Stadt tiefgehende künstlerische und devotionshafte Verbindungen zu Vicenza. Dieses kulturelle Geflecht tritt klar in den Stadtwerken zutage, die einen jahrhundertealten Dialog zwischen den beiden Traditionen bezeugen.
