“Antropocene - L’epoca umana” è un film che mostra con grande efficacia l’impatto delle attività umane sul nostro pianeta, attraverso immagini riprese viaggiando per quattro anni in cinque continenti e visitando 20 Paesi. Il titolo del documentario fa riferimento alle ricerche condotte dagli scienziati dell'Anthropocene Working Group per verificare se i mutamenti subiti negli ultimi cento anni dalla Terra rappresentino l'inizio di una nuova era geologica, l’Antropocene, chiaramente dominata dall'azione umana, e la fine dell'era geologica precedente chiamata Olocene, durata circa 11.700 anni.

The title of the documentary refers to the research conducted by scientists of the Anthropocene Working Group to verify whether the changes the Earth has undergone in the last hundred years represent the beginning of a new geological era, the Anthropocene, clearly dominated by human action, and the end of the previous geological era called Holocene, which lasted about 11,700 years.

“Anthropozän - Das menschliche Zeitalter” ist ein Film, der die Auswirkungen menschlicher Aktivitäten auf unseren Planeten auf eindrucksvolle Weise zeigt, mit Bildern, die über vier Jahre auf fünf Kontinenten und in 20 Ländern aufgenommen wurden.
