Giunto quest’anno alla seconda edizione Design in Villa è un festival che si svolgerà nel mese di marzo 2026, nei fine settimana del 21–22 e 28–29 marzo, all’interno di sette straordinarie dimore storiche del Veneto: Castello di Thiene, Villa Angarano, Villa Priuli Crisanti, Parco Frassanelle, Villa Valmarana ai Nani, Villa da Schio e Villa Rosa.
Il festival Design in Villa, promosso da Dimore Amiche del Veneto, mette in dialogo le storie di nobili famiglie, l’arte, la cultura e la tradizione con l’eccellenza del design italiano contemporaneo creando una connessione autentica tra passato e futuro.
Sette dimore storiche – sei ville e un castello – aprono le loro porte offrendo ai visitatori l’esclusiva accoglienza di chi le abita da generazioni.
Il filo conduttore che unisce questi due mondi è la valorizzazione dell’artigianato italiano: antiche lavorazioni, patrimonio prezioso del nostro Paese, che grazie al design contemporaneo rimangono vive e vengono reinterpretate con tecniche innovative e approcci sperimentali.
Il designer diventa così la mente capace di reinventare la tradizione, trasformando saperi antichi in oggetti unici o in piccole serie realizzate a mano dalla maestria degli artigiani. Un equilibrio perfetto tra tradizione e avanguardia, dove ogni oggetto racconta una storia fatta di manualità e tecnologia.
Il 21–22 marzo, Villa Rosa dalle 10:00 – 18:00, ospiterà le opere di Craafts , Letizia Donati studio, Gianluca Maver, ZPSTUDIO e ivdesign. Incontro con i designers ad ingresso gratuito: sabato 21 ore 15:00.

Now in its second edition, Design in Villa is a festival that will take place in March 2026, on the weekends of March 21–22 and 28–29, within seven extraordinary historic residences of Veneto: Castello di Thiene, Villa Angarano, Villa Priuli Crisanti, Parco Frassanelle, Villa Valmarana ai Nani, Villa da Schio, and Villa Rosa.
The Design in Villa festival, promoted by Dimore Amiche del Veneto, engages the stories of noble families, art, culture, and tradition with the excellence of contemporary Italian design, creating an authentic connection between the past and the future.
Seven historic residences – six villas and a castle – open their doors offering visitors the exclusive hospitality of those who have lived there for generations.
The common thread that unites these two worlds is the enhancement of Italian craftsmanship: ancient craftsmanship, a precious heritage of our country, which, thanks to contemporary design, remains alive and is reinterpreted with innovative techniques and experimental approaches.
The designer thus becomes the mind capable of reinventing tradition, transforming ancient knowledge into unique objects or small series handmade by the mastery of artisans. A perfect balance between tradition and avant-garde, where each object tells a story made of craftsmanship and technology.
On March 21–22, Villa Rosa from 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM, will host works by Craafts, Letizia Donati studio, Gianluca Maver, ZPSTUDIO, and ivdesign. Meet the designers with free entry: Saturday 21 at 3:00 PM.

Das Festival Design in Villa, gefördert von Dimore Amiche del Veneto, bringt die Geschichten edler Familien, Kunst, Kultur und Tradition mit der Exzellenz des zeitgenössischen italienischen Designs in Dialog und schafft eine authentische Verbindung zwischen Vergangenheit und Zukunft.
Sieben historische Residenzen – sechs Villen und ein Schloss – öffnen ihre Türen und bieten den Besuchern die exklusive Gastfreundschaft derjenigen, die seit Generationen dort leben.
Der rote Faden, der diese beiden Welten verbindet, ist die Wertschätzung des italienischen Handwerks: alte Techniken, ein wertvolles Erbe unseres Landes, das dank des zeitgenössischen Designs lebendig bleibt und mit innovativen Techniken und experimentellen Ansätzen neu interpretiert wird.
Der Designer wird somit zum kreativen Kopf, der die Tradition neu erfindet, indem er altes Wissen in einzigartige Objekte oder in kleine Serien verwandelt, die von der Meisterschaft der Handwerker handgefertigt werden. Ein perfektes Gleichgewicht zwischen Tradition und Avantgarde, wo jedes Objekt eine Geschichte erzählt, die aus Handarbeit und Technologie besteht.
Am 21.–22. März wird Villa Rosa von 10:00 – 18:00 Uhr die Werke von Craafts, Letizia Donati studio, Gianluca Maver, ZPSTUDIO und ivdesign beherbergen. Treffen mit den Designern bei freiem Eintritt: Samstag, 21. um 15:00 Uhr.
Eintrittspreis: €10,00 - Ermäßigt für die zweite Villa: €8,00 (bei Vorlage des Tickets). Kostenlos für unter 12-Jährige.
Das Eintrittsticket berechtigt zu einem Fortbildungsguthaben für Architekten.
