Il Festival Cansiglio InVita è nato nel 2023 per creare un ponte tra scienza e società, tra diversi settori e ambiti di ricerca. Nell'edizione 2025 ha ampliato ulteriormente il proprio orizzonte, affrontando il tema della salute planetaria.
Secondo questa prospettiva – sostenuta dalla comunità scientifica internazionale – la salute degli esseri umani è strettamente connessa a quella degli animali, degli ecosistemi e del pianeta. Mantenere in salute ed equilibrio il Sistema Terra, in tutte le sue componenti ambientali, sociali e culturali, nelle loro complesse e dinamiche relazioni, richiede un impegno collettivo orientato a promuovere il benessere e l’equità.
Durante il Festival abbiamo esplorato questi legami complessi attraverso un convegno scientifico multidisciplinare, proiezioni di documentari, laboratori, escursioni e attività pratiche nella natura, esperienze guidate immersive e momenti di dialogo aperto. Le attività sono state ideate per soddisfare curiosità di persone di tutte le età e hanno offerto l’opportunità di fare esperienza dirette degli effetti della natura sulla salute umana anche a gruppi di persone con condizioni o patologie specifiche. È stata un’occasione per ascoltare voci esperte, vivere in prima persona il legame che ci unisce alla natura e guardare ad essa – e a noi stesse/i – con occhi nuovi.
The Cansiglio InVita Festival was born in 2023 to create a bridge between science and society, between different sectors and fields of research. In the 2025 edition, it further expanded its horizons by addressing the theme of planetary health.
According to this perspective – supported by the international scientific community – human health is closely connected to that of animals, ecosystems, and the planet. Maintaining the health and balance of the Earth System, in all its environmental, social, and cultural components, and in their complex and dynamic relationships, requires a collective commitment aimed at promoting well-being and equity.
During the Festival, we explored these complex links through a multidisciplinary scientific conference, documentary screenings, workshops, excursions, and hands-on activities in nature, immersive guided experiences, and moments of open dialogue. The activities were designed to satisfy the curiosity of people of all ages and offered the opportunity to directly experience the effects of nature on human health, even for groups of people with specific conditions or illnesses. It was an opportunity to hear expert voices, to personally experience the bond that connects us to nature, and to look at it – and ourselves – with new eyes.
Das Festival Cansiglio InVita wurde 2023 gegründet, um eine Brücke zwischen Wissenschaft und Gesellschaft, zwischen verschiedenen Sektoren und Forschungsbereichen zu schlagen. In der Ausgabe 2025 wurde der Horizont weiter erweitert und das Thema der planetaren Gesundheit behandelt.
Nach dieser Perspektive – von der internationalen wissenschaftlichen Gemeinschaft unterstützt – ist die Gesundheit der Menschen eng mit der der Tiere, der Ökosysteme und des Planeten verbunden. Die Gesundheit und das Gleichgewicht des Systems Erde in all seinen umweltlichen, sozialen und kulturellen Komponenten sowie in ihren komplexen und dynamischen Beziehungen zu erhalten, erfordert ein kollektives Engagement, das darauf abzielt, das Wohlbefinden und die Gerechtigkeit zu fördern.
Während des Festivals haben wir diese komplexen Verbindungen durch eine multidisziplinäre wissenschaftliche Konferenz, Filmvorführungen, Workshops, Exkursionen und praktische Aktivitäten in der Natur, immersive geführte Erfahrungen und Momente des offenen Dialogs erkundet. Die Aktivitäten wurden entwickelt, um die Neugier von Menschen jeden Alters zu befriedigen und boten die Gelegenheit, direkte Erfahrungen mit den Auswirkungen der Natur auf die menschliche Gesundheit zu sammeln, auch für Gruppen von Menschen mit spezifischen Bedingungen oder Erkrankungen. Es war eine Gelegenheit, erfahrene Stimmen zu hören, die Verbindung zur Natur hautnah zu erleben und sie – sowie uns selbst – mit neuen Augen zu betrachten.
