Una giornata speciale per scoprire da vicino il fiume Retrone e il suo straordinario legame con il territorio vicentino. L’iniziativa propone un percorso esperienziale suddiviso in più momenti: si partirà percorrendo a piedi o in bicicletta gli argini nel tratto da Sovizzo a Creazzo, per poi proseguire dal Parco Retrone fino al cuore di Vicenza. Lungo il tragitto, attività e momenti di racconto accompagneranno i partecipanti alla scoperta della storia, delle peculiarità ambientali e delle potenzialità di questo corso d’acqua.
In contemporanea, un gruppo di canoisti solcherà il Retrone in kayak, offrendo uno sguardo privilegiato su scorci nascosti e angoli poco conosciuti. La giornata si concluderà in una piazza del centro, dove canoe, biciclette e scarpe diventeranno simboli tangibili per portare il fiume tra le persone.
L’evento sarà anche occasione per riflettere sullo stato di salute del Retrone e sulle prospettive future, inserendosi nel percorso partecipativo promosso dalla Provincia di Vicenza e facilitato da Viacqua per la costruzione del Contratto di Fiume.

A special day to closely discover the Retrone River and its extraordinary connection with the Vicenza territory. The initiative proposes an experiential journey divided into several moments: starting with a walk or bike ride along the banks from Sovizzo to Creazzo, then continuing from the Retrone Park to the heart of Vicenza. Along the way, activities and storytelling moments will accompany participants in discovering the history, environmental features, and potential of this watercourse.
Meanwhile, a group of kayakers will navigate the Retrone, offering a privileged view of hidden spots and lesser-known corners. The day will conclude in a square in the city center, where canoes, bicycles, and shoes will become tangible symbols to bring the river among the people.
The event will also be an opportunity to reflect on the health of the Retrone and future prospects, fitting into the participatory process promoted by the Province of Vicenza and facilitated by Viacqua to build the River Contract.

Ein besonderer Tag, um den Fluss Retrone und seine außergewöhnliche Verbindung zum Gebiet von Vicenza aus der Nähe zu entdecken. Die Initiative bietet einen erfahrungsbasierten Weg, der in mehrere Momente unterteilt ist: Wir beginnen mit einer Wanderung oder Fahrradtour auf den Ufern von Sovizzo nach Creazzo, um dann vom Parco Retrone bis ins Herz von Vicenza fortzufahren. Entlang der Strecke werden Aktivitäten und Erzählmomente die Teilnehmer auf die Entdeckung der Geschichte, der Umweltmerkmale und der Potenziale dieses Flusses begleiten.
Zur gleichen Zeit wird eine Gruppe von Kanufahrern den Retrone im Kajak befahren und einen privilegierten Blick auf verborgene Aussichtspunkte und wenig bekannte Ecken bieten. Der Tag wird in einem Platz im Zentrum enden, wo Kanus, Fahrräder und Schuhe zu greifbaren Symbolen werden, um den Fluss zu den Menschen zu bringen.
Die Veranstaltung wird auch eine Gelegenheit sein, über den Gesundheitszustand des Retrone und die zukünftigen Perspektiven nachzudenken, als Teil des von der Provinz Vicenza geförderten und von Viacqua erleichterten partizipativen Prozesses zur Erstellung des Flussvertrags.
