Nella notte più breve dell’anno, Giazza si illumina di Magia: tra rievocazioni, spettacoli di fuoco, musica e antiche tradizioni cimbre, torna uno degli appuntamenti più suggestivi della Lessinia. Una serata unica, dove il fascino del Solstizio d’Estate incontra il calore della comunità e la forza di rituali tramandati nel tempo. Protagonista della notte sarà l’accensione dei 13 fuochi, simbolo dell’unione degli antichi XIII Comuni Cimbri.
La notte del solstizio d'estate è la più breve dell’anno e magica per eccellenza, dedicata ai racconti e alle vicende nelle quali il Sole si ricongiunge alla Luna e inizia il suo ciclo calante. Un giorno considerato sacro nelle tradizioni popolari e nelle religioni celtiche e nordiche, nelle quali si esaltavano il potere del Fuoco e della Luce, delle acque e della terra feconda di erbe, di messi e di fiori.
E’ proprio nella notte di San Giovanni che in tutte le campagne del nord Europa l’attesa del Sole era ed è propiziata da falò accesi sulle colline e sui monti, perché da sempre con il Fuoco si mettono in fuga le tenebre e, con esse, gli spiriti maligni, le streghe ed i demoni vaganti nel cielo. Attorno ai fuochi si canta e si danza.
PROGRAMMA:
Ore 20.45: Saluti dei Presidenti delle Associazioni e della Pubblica Amministrazione.
Ore 21.00 – “La Notte della Strega”: spettacolo gotico e medievale sullo scontro tra una strega e un inquisitore, in una notte di fuoco e sortilegi.
Ore 22.00: Rappresentazione di miti e leggende della Lessinia e accensione dei fuochi simbolo dell’unità degli antichi XIII Comuni Cimbri.
Bus navetta gratuito da Selva di Progno, dalle ore 19.00 alle ore 23.30 (ultima corsa di ritorno).
On the shortest night of the year, Giazza is illuminated by Magic: through reenactments, fire shows, music, and ancient Cimbrian traditions, one of the most evocative events of Lessinia returns. A unique evening, where the charm of the Summer Solstice meets the warmth of the community and the strength of rituals passed down through time. The protagonist of the night will be the lighting of the 13 fires, symbolizing the union of the ancient XIII Cimbrian Communities.
The night of the summer solstice is the shortest of the year and the most magical, dedicated to the tales and events in which the Sun reunites with the Moon and begins its waning cycle. A day considered sacred in popular traditions and in Celtic and Nordic religions, in which the power of Fire and Light, of waters and the fertile earth of herbs, of harvests, and of flowers was exalted.
It is precisely on the night of San Giovanni that in all the countryside of northern Europe the wait for the Sun was and is favored by bonfires lit on the hills and mountains, because for centuries, with Fire, the darkness is driven away and, with it, the evil spirits, witches, and demons wandering in the sky. Around the fires, people sing and dance.
PROGRAM:
8:45 p.m.: Greetings from the Presidents of the Associations and the Public Administration.
9:00 p.m. – “The Night of the Witch”: a gothic and medieval show about the clash between a witch and an inquisitor, on a night of fire and sorcery.
10:00 p.m.: Representation of myths and legends of Lessinia and lighting of the fires symbolizing the unity of the ancient XIII Cimbrian Communities.

In der kürzesten Nacht des Jahres erstrahlt Giazza in Magie: zwischen Nachstellungen, Feuershows, Musik und alten cimberischen Traditionen kehrt einer der eindrucksvollsten Termine der Lessinia zurück. Ein einzigartiger Abend, an dem der Zauber der Sommersonnenwende auf die Wärme der Gemeinschaft und die Kraft von überlieferten Ritualen trifft. Protagonist der Nacht wird das Entzünden der 13 Feuer sein, Symbol der Einheit der alten XIII cimberischen Gemeinden.
Die Nacht der Sommersonnenwende ist die kürzeste des Jahres und magisch par excellence, gewidmet den Erzählungen und Geschichten, in denen die Sonne sich mit der Mond vereint und ihren abnehmenden Zyklus beginnt. Ein Tag, der in den populären Traditionen und in den keltischen und nordischen Religionen als heilig gilt, in denen die Macht des Feuers und des Lichts, der Wasser und des fruchtbaren Bodens mit Kräutern, Ernten und Blumen gepriesen wurden.
Es ist gerade in der Nacht von San Giovanni, dass in allen ländlichen Gebieten Nordeuropas die Erwartung der Sonne durch entzündete Feuer auf den Hügeln und Bergen gefördert wurde und wird, denn seit jeher vertreibt das Feuer die Dunkelheit und mit ihr die bösen Geister, Hexen und wandernde Dämonen am Himmel. Rund um die Feuer wird gesungen und getanzt.
PROGRAMM:
19:45 Uhr: Begrüßung der Präsidenten der Verbände und der öffentlichen Verwaltung.
20:00 Uhr – “Die Nacht der Hexe”: gotische und mittelalterliche Show über den Kampf zwischen einer Hexe und einem Inquisitor in einer Nacht voller Feuer und Zauberei.
21:00 Uhr: Darstellung von Mythen und Legenden der Lessinia und das Entzünden der Feuer, Symbol für die Einheit der alten XIII cimberischen Gemeinden.
