Il lupo fra leggenda e realtà. Conoscere per capire, capire per convivere.
Primo appuntamento della rassegna “I Venerdì di Luglio nel Borgo 2026”, promossa dal gruppo spontaneo "amareSTRamare" in collaborazione con il Gruppo Alpini di Segusino.
La serata sarà dedicata alla figura del lupo, animale che da sempre occupa un posto significativo nell'immaginario collettivo e nella storia delle comunità montane. Attraverso racconti, testimonianze storiche e approfondimenti scientifici, verranno ripercorsi il rapporto tra uomo e lupo nel territorio alpino, le ragioni della sua scomparsa e il suo progressivo ritorno negli ultimi decenni.
Relatrice dell'incontro sarà Elena Torresan, tecnico faunistico e titolare della fattoria didattica Il Codibugnolo, che illustrerà le caratteristiche biologiche e comportamentali della specie, l'organizzazione del branco, gli spostamenti sul territorio e il ruolo che il lupo svolge negli ecosistemi naturali.
L'incontro offrirà l'occasione per approfondire un tema di grande attualità attraverso informazioni basate sull'osservazione e sulla conoscenza scientifica, favorendo una maggiore comprensione di una presenza sempre più vicina alle nostre montagne.

First appointment of the event “Fridays in July in the Village 2026,” promoted by the spontaneous group "amareSTRamare" in collaboration with the Alpine Group of Segusino.
The evening will be dedicated to the figure of the wolf, an animal that has always held a significant place in the collective imagination and in the history of mountain communities. Through stories, historical testimonies, and scientific insights, the relationship between man and wolf in the alpine territory, the reasons for its disappearance, and its gradual return in recent decades will be retraced.
The speaker of the meeting will be Elena Torresan, a wildlife technician and owner of the educational farm Il Codibugnolo, who will illustrate the biological and behavioral characteristics of the species, the organization of the pack, movements across the territory, and the role that the wolf plays in natural ecosystems.
The meeting will provide an opportunity to delve into a highly relevant topic through information based on observation and scientific knowledge, promoting a greater understanding of a presence that is increasingly close to our mountains.

Referentin des Treffens wird Elena Torresan, Wildtierexpertin und Inhaberin des Lehrbauernhofes Il Codibugnolo, sein, die die biologischen und Verhaltensmerkmale der Art, die Organisation des Rudels, die Bewegungen im Gebiet und die Rolle, die der Wolf in den natürlichen Ökosystemen spielt, erläutern wird.
