Giunto quest’anno alla seconda edizione Design in Villa è un festival che si svolgerà nel mese di marzo 2026, nei fine settimana del 21–22 e 28–29 marzo, all’interno di sette straordinarie dimore storiche del Veneto: Castello di Thiene, Villa Angarano, Villa Priuli Crisanti, Parco Frassanelle, Villa Valmarana ai Nani, Villa da Schio e Villa Rosa.
Il festival Design in Villa, promosso da Dimore Amiche del Veneto, mette in dialogo le storie di nobili famiglie, l’arte, la cultura e la tradizione con l’eccellenza del design italiano contemporaneo creando una connessione autentica tra passato e futuro.
Sette dimore storiche – sei ville e un castello – aprono le loro porte offrendo ai visitatori l’esclusiva accoglienza di chi le abita da generazioni.
Il filo conduttore che unisce questi due mondi è la valorizzazione dell’artigianato italiano: antiche lavorazioni, patrimonio prezioso del nostro Paese, che grazie al design contemporaneo rimangono vive e vengono reinterpretate con tecniche innovative e approcci sperimentali.
Il designer diventa così la mente capace di reinventare la tradizione, trasformando saperi antichi in oggetti unici o in piccole serie realizzate a mano dalla maestria degli artigiani. Un equilibrio perfetto tra tradizione e avanguardia, dove ogni oggetto racconta una storia fatta di manualità e tecnologia.
Sabato 21 e domenica 22 marzo Parco Frassanelle dalle 10:00 alle 18:00 ospiterà le opere di Alberta Vita, Giulia Rinaldi, Maria Novella Papafava Dei Carraresi, l’incontro con le designers si terrà domenica 22 ore 15:00 ad ingresso gratuito al parco a partire dalle 14.30.

Seven historic residences – six villas and one castle – open their doors to offer visitors the exclusive hospitality of those who have inhabited them for generations.
The common thread that unites these two worlds is the enhancement of Italian craftsmanship: ancient techniques, a precious heritage of our country, which, thanks to contemporary design, remain vibrant and are reinterpreted with innovative techniques and experimental approaches.
Thus, the designer becomes the mind capable of reinventing tradition, transforming ancient knowledge into unique objects or small series handcrafted by the skills of artisans. A perfect balance between tradition and avant-garde, where each object tells a story made of craftsmanship and technology.
On Saturday, March 21 and Sunday, March 22, Parco Frassanelle will host the works of Alberta Vita, Giulia Rinaldi, and Maria Novella Papafava Dei Carraresi, and the meeting with the designers will take place on Sunday 22 at 3:00 PM with free entry to the park starting at 2:30 PM.

Eine perfekte Balance zwischen Tradition und Avantgarde, wo jedes Objekt eine Geschichte erzählt, die aus Handwerk und Technologie besteht.
Am Samstag, den 21. und Sonntag, den 22. März, wird der Parco Frassanelle von 10:00 bis 18:00 Uhr die Werke von Alberta Vita, Giulia Rinaldi und Maria Novella Papafava Dei Carraresi präsentieren. Das Treffen mit den Designerinnen findet am Sonntag, den 22. um 15:00 Uhr statt, der Eintritt in den Park ist ab 14:30 Uhr kostenlos.
