Dal 23 al 26 luglio 2026, il centro storico di Rovigo si trasforma in uno spazio di consapevolezza, attivismo e grande musica con la 29ª edizione di “Voci per la libertà – Una canzone per Amnesty”. Il festival unisce l'arte alla difesa dei diritti umani, alternando sul palco grandi nomi della scena italiana e i semifinalisti del Premio Amnesty nella sezione Emergenti.
Il programma di quest'anno affronta tematiche cruciali come la condizione carceraria, il gender gap, il ruolo del giornalismo nei conflitti e la criminalizzazione della solidarietà, attraverso un fitto calendario di appuntamenti diffusi.
I grandi protagonisti musicali sul Palco Principale (Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II):
Venerdì 24 luglio: Le esibizioni dei primi quattro artisti emergenti in gara, l'estratto dallo spettacolo "Padre Terra" di Vincenzo Fasano e il grande live di DENTE, uno dei cantautori più apprezzati della scena indie italiana.
Sabato 25 luglio: La seconda semifinale degli emergenti e il concerto di FRANCAMENTE, promessa della nuova generazione (fresca di candidatura alle Targhe Tenco) che unisce cantautorato ed elettronica con un forte focus su queerness e attivismo.
Domenica 26 luglio: La finalissima del Premio Amnesty Emergenti e i concerti d'eccezione dei finalisti della sezione Big: la cantautrice siciliana IBLA (con il suo folk politico e mediterraneo) e il rapper MURUBUTU accompagnato dalla Moon Jazz Band per un'inedita e rivoluzionaria fusione tra hip-hop e jazz.

Mostre ed esposizioni (Pescheria Nuova e Portici della Gran Guardia): Installazioni e progetti grafici ("POLARIGHTS" del Politecnico di Milano), la collettiva di pittura del territorio "Geometrie di Speranza" e la mostra fotografica "Essere popolo senza confini". (Orari: 10:00-12:00 e 17:00-23:00).
Incontri e presentazioni (Sala della Gran Guardia e Libreria Ubik): Focus sul tema del carcere, incontri sulla parità di genere, dibattiti sul giornalismo d'inchiesta con reporter e giornaliste (tra cui Stefania Battistini e Asmae Dachan) e riflessioni sulle migrazioni.
Aperitivi Musicali & Eventi Itineranti: La parata della Magicaboola Brass Band il giovedì sera per le vie del centro, e i concerti-reading pomeridiani ai Giardini di Piazza Matteotti con Roberta Giallo, Giovanni Segreti Bruno e Agnese Valle.
Durante le serate in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II e Piazza Matteotti sarà attiva un'area food & drink solidale (con Birrificio Vojo e Gaza Cola).
From July 23 to 26, 2026, the historic center of Rovigo will be transformed into a space of awareness, activism, and great music with the 29th edition of “Voices for Freedom – A Song for Amnesty”. The festival combines art with the defense of human rights, alternating on stage major names from the Italian scene and the semifinalists of the Amnesty Award in the Emerging section.
This year's program addresses crucial themes such as prison conditions, the gender gap, the role of journalism in conflicts, and the criminalization of solidarity, through a dense calendar of widespread events.
The major musical protagonists on the Main Stage (Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II):
Friday, July 24: Performances by the first four emerging artists in the competition, an excerpt from the show "Father Earth" by Vincenzo Fasano, and the great live performance of DENTE, one of the most appreciated singer-songwriters of the Italian indie scene.
Saturday, July 25: The second semifinal of the emerging artists and the concert of FRANCAMENTE, a promising figure of the new generation (fresh from a nomination for the Targhe Tenco) who merges singer-songwriter and electronic music with a strong focus on queerness and activism.
Sunday, July 26: The final of the Amnesty Emerging Award and exceptional concerts by the finalists of the Big section: Sicilian singer-songwriter IBLA (with her political and Mediterranean folk) and rapper MURUBUTU accompanied by the Moon Jazz Band for a unique and revolutionary fusion of hip-hop and jazz.

Exhibitions and displays (Pescheria Nuova and Portici della Gran Guardia): Installations and graphic projects ("POLARIGHTS" from the Polytechnic University of Milan), the collective painting exhibition "Geometries of Hope," and the photographic exhibition "Being a People Without Borders." (Hours: 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.-11:00 p.m.).
Meetings and presentations (Sala della Gran Guardia and Libreria Ubik): Focus on the theme of prisons, meetings on gender equality, debates on investigative journalism with reporters and journalists (including Stefania Battistini and Asmae Dachan), and reflections on migration.
Musical Aperitifs & Itinerant Events: The parade of the Magicaboola Brass Band on Thursday evening through the streets of the center, and afternoon concert-readings at the Giardini di Piazza Matteotti with Roberta Giallo, Giovanni Segreti Bruno, and Agnese Valle.

Vom 23. bis 26. Juli 2026 verwandelt sich die Altstadt von Rovigo in einen Raum für Bewusstsein, Aktivismus und großartige Musik mit der 29. Ausgabe von „Voices for Freedom – A Song for Amnesty”. Das Festival verbindet Kunst mit dem Schutz der Menschenrechte und bietet auf der Bühne große Namen der italienischen Szene sowie die Halbfinalisten des Amnesty-Preises in der Kategorie Newcomer.
Das Programm in diesem Jahr thematisiert entscheidende Fragen wie die Insassenbedingungen, die Geschlechtergleichheit, die Rolle des Journalismus in Konflikten und die Kriminalisierung von Solidarität durch einen dichten Kalender mit zahlreichen Veranstaltungen.

Juli: Das Finale des Amnesty Emerging Awards und die außergewöhnlichen Konzerte der Finalisten der Kategorie Big: Die sizilianische Sängerin IBLA (mit ihrem politischen und mediterranen Folk) und der Rapper MURUBUTU, beg begleitet von der Moon Jazz Band für eine neuartige und revolutionäre Verschmelzung von Hip-Hop und Jazz.
