Giunta alla sua XIII edizione, la rassegna unisce concerti ad alto profilo artistico e attività didattiche, valorizzando la prestigiosa scuola violoncellistica rodigina e trasformando i luoghi d'interesse storico e architettonico della città in un palcoscenico diffuso.

Ospite di punta dell'edizione 2026 sarà Ludwig Quandt, per oltre trent'anni primo violoncello dei Berliner Philharmoniker, che inaugurerà il festival e terrà una masterclass per giovani talenti.

Il programma unisce artisti di fama internazionale, giovani promesse del panorama musicale e proposte trasversali che spaziano dal repertorio classico al dialogo tra musica, poesia e contaminazioni jazz.

CALENDARIO DEI CONCERTI

  • Domenica 30 Agosto – Tempio della B.V. del Soccorso ("La Rotonda") "Danzando tra i secoli" Ludwig Quandt (violoncello) e l’Orchestra Giovanile Regionale Filarmonia Veneta, diretta da Elisabetta Maschio. Musiche di R. Schumann e O. Respighi.

  • Lunedì 31 Agosto – Chiesa del Cristo "Suite poetica: Bach, il violoncello e l’assoluto" In collaborazione con Marco Munaro ed Il Ponte del Sale. Testi di poeti contemporanei alternati alle Suites per violoncello solo di J.S. Bach.
  • Martedì 1 Settembre – Auditorium Marco Tamburini "Due voci, un destino" Marina Pavani (violoncello) e Daniele Martinelli (pianoforte).
  • Mercoledì 2 Settembre – Chiesa del Cristo Concerto dedicato al Cello Biennale Amsterdam con il violoncellista Thomas Prechal.
  • Giovedì 3 Settembre – Tempio della B.V. del Soccorso ("La Rotonda") "Eleganza e fuoco" Miriam Prandi (violoncello) e Gloria Campaner (pianoforte).
  • Venerdì 4 Settembre – Tempio della B.V. del Soccorso ("La Rotonda") "Luce romantica" Luca Magariello (violoncello) e Cecilia Novarino (pianoforte).
  • Sabato 5 Settembre – Auditorium Marco Tamburini "Nubes – Attraverso le frontiere" Francesco Dillon (violoncello) e Alessandro Lanzoni (pianoforte). Un percorso tra musica classica, jazz e improvvisazione.
  • Domenica 6 Settembre – Tempio della B.V. del Soccorso ("La Rotonda") Gran Finale Ensemble "Cello’s Quartier" diretto da Walter Vestidello con la partecipazione del soprano Fabiana Visentin. Un viaggio musicale da Vivaldi alla canzone napoletana.

MASTERCLASS E FORMAZIONE

Le masterclass per giovani violoncellisti si terranno presso il Salone dei Concerti di Palazzo Venezze e l’Auditorium Marco Tamburini:

  • Ludwig Quandt: Venerdì 28 e lunedì 31 agosto

  • Miriam Prandi: Martedì 1 e mercoledì 2 settembre
  • Luca Magariello: Sabato 5 e domenica 6 settembre

  • Modalità di ingresso: Tutti gli eventi sono con ingresso previo contributo di 10,00 € per i non soci e 5,00 € per i soci dell'Associazione Musicale "Francesco Venezze".

  • Apertura prenotazioni: Da domenica 23 agosto 2026 alle ore 10:00 (prelazione soci da sabato 22 agosto ore 10:00). Le prenotazioni si chiudono un'ora prima di ciascun evento.

Now in its XIII edition, the event combines high-profile concerts with educational activities, enhancing the prestigious cello school of Rodigo and transforming the city’s historical and architectural sites into a widespread stage.

The highlight guest of the 2026 edition will be Ludwig Quandt, who served as the principal cellist of the Berliner Philharmoniker for over thirty years, opening the festival and holding a masterclass for young talents.

The program features internationally renowned artists, young musical talents, and cross-genre proposals ranging from classical repertoire to the dialogue between music, poetry, and jazz influences.

  • Sunday, August 30 – Temple of the B.V. of Help ("La Rotonda") "Dancing Through the Centuries" Ludwig Quandt (cello) and the Regional Youth Orchestra Filarmonia Veneta, conducted by Elisabetta Maschio. Music by R. Schumann and O. Respighi.

  • Monday, August 31 – Church of Christ "Poetic Suite: Bach, the Cello, and the Absolute" In collaboration with Marco Munaro and Il Ponte del Sale. Texts by contemporary poets interspersed with the Solo Cello Suites of J.S. Bach.
  • Tuesday, September 1 – Auditorium Marco Tamburini "Two Voices, One Destiny" Marina Pavani (cello) and Daniele Martinelli (piano).
  • Wednesday, September 2 – Church of Christ Concert dedicated to the Cello Biennale Amsterdam featuring cellist Thomas Prechal.
  • Thursday, September 3 – Temple of the B.V. of Help ("La Rotonda") "Elegance and Fire" Miriam Prandi (cello) and Gloria Campaner (piano).
  • Friday, September 4 – Temple of the B.V. of Help ("La Rotonda") "Romantic Light" Luca Magariello (cello) and Cecilia Novarino (piano).
  • Saturday, September 5 – Auditorium Marco Tamburini "Nubes – Through the Borders" Francesco Dillon (cello) and Alessandro Lanzoni (piano). A journey through classical music, jazz, and improvisation.
  • Sunday, September 6 – Temple of the B.V. of Help ("La Rotonda") Grand Finale Ensemble "Cello’s Quartier" conducted by Walter Vestidello with soprano Fabiana Visentin. A musical journey from Vivaldi to Neapolitan song.

The masterclasses for young cellists will be held at the Concert Hall of Palazzo Venezze and the Auditorium Marco Tamburini:

  • Miriam Prandi: Tuesday, September 1 and Wednesday, September 2
  • Luca Magariello: Saturday, September 5 and Sunday, September 6

  • Entrance fee: All events require a contribution of €10.00 for non-members and €5.00 for members of the "Francesco Venezze" Musical Association.

  • Booking opens: From Sunday, August 23, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. (priority for members from Saturday, August 22 at 10:00 a.m.). Bookings close one hour before each event.

  • Main venues: Temple of the B.V. of Help ("La Rotonda"), Church of Christ, Auditorium Marco Tamburini, Palazzo Venezze.

Die XIII. Auflage des Festivals vereint hochkarätige Konzerte mit pädagogischen Aktivitäten, fördert die prestigeträchtige Cello-Schule von Rovigo und verwandelt die Orte von historischem und architektonischem Interesse der Stadt in eine weitläufige Bühne.

Der Hauptgast der Ausgabe 2026 wird Ludwig Quandt sein, der über dreißig Jahre lang erster Cellist der Berliner Philharmoniker war, der das Festival eröffnet und einen Meisterkurs für junge Talente hält.

Das Programm vereint international bekannte Künstler, junge Talente der Musikszene und transversale Vorschläge, die vom klassischen Repertoire bis hin zum Dialog zwischen Musik, Poesie und Jazz-Contaminations reichen.

  • Sonntag, 30. August – Tempel der B.V. des Beistands ("La Rotonda") "Tanzend durch die Jahrhunderte" Ludwig Quandt (Cello) und das Regionale Jugendorchester Filarmonia Veneta, unter der Leitung von Elisabetta Maschio. Musik von R. Schumann und O. Respighi.

  • Montag, 31. August – Kirche des Christus "Poetische Suite: Bach, das Cello und das Absolute" In Zusammenarbeit mit Marco Munaro und Il Ponte del Sale. Texte zeitgenössischer Dichter wechseln sich mit den Suiten für Solo-Cello von J.S. Bach ab.
  • Dienstag, 1. September – Auditorium Marco Tamburini "Zwei Stimmen, ein Schicksal" Marina Pavani (Cello) und Daniele Martinelli (Klavier).
  • Mittwoch, 2. September – Kirche des Christus Konzert gewidmet der Cello Biennale Amsterdam mit dem Cellisten Thomas Prechal.
  • Donnerstag, 3. September – Tempel der B.V. des Beistands ("La Rotonda") "Eleganz und Feuer" Miriam Prandi (Cello) und Gloria Campaner (Klavier).
  • Freitag, 4. September – Tempel der B.V. des Beistands ("La Rotonda") "Romantisches Licht" Luca Magariello (Cello) und Cecilia Novarino (Klavier).
  • Samstag, 5. September – Auditorium Marco Tamburini "Nubes – Durch die Grenzen" Francesco Dillon (Cello) und Alessandro Lanzoni (Klavier). Ein Weg durch klassische Musik, Jazz und Improvisation.
  • Sonntag, 6. September – Tempel der B.V. des Beistands ("La Rotonda") Großes Finale Ensemble "Cello’s Quartier", geleitet von Walter Vestidello mit der Teilnahme der Sopranistin Fabiana Visentin. Eine musikalische Reise von Vivaldi bis zum neapolitanischen Lied.

MEISTERKURSE UND AUSBILDUNG

Die Meisterkurse für junge Cellisten finden im Saal der Konzerte im Palazzo Venezze und im Auditorium Marco Tamburini statt:

  • Miriam Prandi: Dienstag, 1. und Mittwoch, 2. September

  • Eintrittsmodalitäten: Alle Veranstaltungen sind nur mit einem Beitrag von 10,00 € für Nichtmitglieder und 5,00 € für Mitglieder des "Francesco Venezze" Musikvereins zugänglich.

  • Reservierungen öffnen: Ab Sonntag, 23. August 2026 um 10:00 Uhr (Vorrecht für Mitglieder ab Samstag, 22. August um 10:00 Uhr). Die Reservierungen schließen eine Stunde vor jedem Ereignis.
