La mostra di pittura e scultura “La provocazione nell’arte”, curata da Stefania Donatella Paron per Radio Voce nel Deserto O.D.V., si terrà dal 19 gennaio al 1 febbraio 2026 presso la Sala Pescheria Nuova di Rovigo.
Il tema della provocazione viene inteso non come trasgressione fine a sé stessa, ma come stimolo alla discussione e alla riflessione su temi di interesse generale, attraverso opere capaci di incuriosire e coinvolgere lo spettatore.
Espongono sette artisti dalle poetiche molto diverse – Christian Bergantin, Alberto Cristini, Ruben Garbellini, Roberto Pavanello, Sabrina Lorenzini, Martina Siviero e Salvatore Spirlì – accomunati dall’idea di una provocazione che si manifesta in modi differenti: dalla rappresentazione di realtà sospese e inattive, all’uso di simboli da decifrare, da immagini di forte impatto emotivo a linguaggi astratti che sfidano l’interpretazione, fino a opere in cui la provocazione diventa vero e proprio strumento espressivo.
La mostra intende uscire dagli schemi delle rassegne tradizionali concepite come semplici vetrine commerciali, proponendosi invece come occasione di confronto sul ruolo e sull’evoluzione dell’arte contemporanea.
In occasione dell’inaugurazione del 19 gennaio alle ore 18.00 verrà presentato e letto il catalogo della mostra.
Sono previsti inoltre due eventi collegati:
– Domenica 25 gennaio alle ore 17.00, Alberto Cristini presenterà Il Gioco dell’Oca Polesana, un momento ludico e partecipativo che conduce il pubblico in un viaggio simbolico attraverso il territorio del Polesine.
– Sabato 31 gennaio alle ore 18.00, si terrà un reading letterario con proiezione di video-poesie ispirate alle opere esposte, a cura di autori locali.
La mostra, e tutti gli eventi collegati, è ad ingresso libero e gratuito e sarà visitabile tutti i giorni dalle 10.00 alle 12.30 e dalle 16.00 alle 19.30.
The painting and sculpture exhibition “The Provocation in Art”, curated by Stefania Donatella Paron for Radio Voce nel Deserto O.D.V., will take place from January 19 to February 1, 2026 at the Sala Pescheria Nuova in Rovigo.
The theme of provocation is understood not as a transgression for its own sake, but as a stimulus for discussion and reflection on topics of general interest, through works capable of intriguing and engaging the viewer.
Seven artists are exhibiting, each with very different poetics – Christian Bergantin, Alberto Cristini, Ruben Garbellini, Roberto Pavanello, Sabrina Lorenzini, Martina Siviero, and Salvatore Spirlì – united by the idea of provocation that manifests in various ways: from the representation of suspended and inactive realities, to the use of symbols to be deciphered, from images of strong emotional impact to abstract languages that challenge interpretation, up to works where provocation becomes a true expressive tool.
The exhibition aims to break away from the patterns of traditional showcases conceived as mere commercial displays, proposing instead an opportunity for discussion on the role and evolution of contemporary art.
On the occasion of the inauguration on January 19 at 6:00 PM, the exhibition catalog will be presented and read.
Two related events are also planned:
– Sunday, January 25 at 5:00 PM, Alberto Cristini will present The Polesana Goose Game, a playful and participatory moment that takes the audience on a symbolic journey through the territory of Polesine.
– Saturday, January 31 at 6:00 PM, there will be a literary reading with the screening of video-poems inspired by the exhibited works, curated by local authors.
The exhibition, and all related events, is free and open to the public and will be accessible every day from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM and from 4:00 PM to 7:30 PM.
Die Ausstellung für Malerei und Skulptur „Die Provokation in der Kunst“, kuratiert von Stefania Donatella Paron für Radio Voce nel Deserto O.D.V., findet vom 19. Januar bis 1. Februar 2026 in der Sala Pescheria Nuova in Rovigo statt.
Das Thema der Provokation wird nicht als bloße Übertretung verstanden, sondern als Anregung zur Diskussion und Reflexion über von allgemeinem Interesse, durch Werke, die in der Lage sind, das Publikum zu faszinieren und einzubeziehen.
Es stellen sieben Künstler mit sehr unterschiedlichen poetischen Ansätzen aus – Christian Bergantin, Alberto Cristini, Ruben Garbellini, Roberto Pavanello, Sabrina Lorenzini, Martina Siviero und Salvatore Spirlì – vereint durch die Idee einer Provokation, die sich auf unterschiedliche Weise manifestiert: von der Darstellung von schwebenden und inaktiven Realitäten, über die Verwendung von entschlüsselbaren Symbolen, von emotional stark wirkenden Bildern bis hin zu abstrakten Sprachen, die die Interpretation herausfordern, bis hin zu Werken, in denen die Provokation zu einem echten Ausdrucksmittel wird.
Die Ausstellung will die Muster traditioneller Ausstellungen, die als einfache Schaufenster konzipiert sind, hinter sich lassen und sich stattdessen als Gelegenheit zum Austausch über die Rolle und die Entwicklung der zeitgenössischen Kunst präsentieren.
Zur Eröffnung am 19. Januar um 18.00 Uhr wird der Katalog der Ausstellung vorgestellt und gelesen.
Außerdem sind zwei verbundene Veranstaltungen vorgesehen:
– Sonntag, 25. Januar um 17.00 Uhr, wird Alberto Cristini Das Polesana Spiel präsentieren, ein spielerischer und partizipativer Moment, der das Publikum auf eine symbolische Reise durch das Gebiet von Polesine mitnimmt.
– Samstag, 31. Januar um 18.00 Uhr, findet eine literarische Lesung mit Video-Poesien statt, die von den ausgestellten Werken inspiriert sind, kuratiert von lokalen Autoren.
Die Ausstellung und alle verbundenen Veranstaltungen sind kostenfrei und kostenlos und können jeden Tag von 10.00 bis 12.30 Uhr und von 16.00 bis 19.30 Uhr besucht werden.
