Rovigo accoglie la Fiamma Paralimpica
Il 6 marzo una nuova emozione in città
Dopo il suggestivo e partecipato passaggio della Fiamma Olimpica, la città di Rovigo si prepara a vivere un nuovo momento di grande significato. Il 6 marzo dalle 9 alle 10 circa, arriverà in città la "Fiamma Paralimpica Milano-cortina 2026", simbolo di coraggio, resilienza e inclusione.
Il recente transito della Fiamma Olimpica ha acceso entusiasmo e orgoglio in tutta la comunità rodigina, coinvolgendo cittadini, scuole, associazioni e istituzioni in un clima di festa e condivisione. Un’esperienza che ha unito generazioni diverse sotto il segno dei valori universali dello sport.
ASPETTI TECNICI
Il Comune di Rovigo è stato scelto come "Comune di passaggio" del viaggio della fiamma paralimpica, che si svolgerà il prossimo venerdì 6 marzo dalle ore 09.00 alle ore 10:00 circa con partenza da Viale Tre Martiri davanti alla Questura, passando poi per Viale della Pace, Viale Dante Alighieri, Corso del Popolo e terminare in Viale Porta Po n. 2.
E' previsto, inoltre, un momento di presentazione della fiamma paralimpica con i saluti delle autorità cittadine, alle ore 08.30 IN piazza Matteotti - Rovigo.
La manifestazione prevede la presenza di 20 tedofori che percorreranno ognuno circa 150 metri e vorremmo rendere il passaggio una festa per la città, coinvolgendo scuole, associazioni, società sportive e tutta la cittadinanza, affinché il percorso dei tedofori diventi un momento di gioia, partecipazione e inclusione.

"Now Rovigo – declare Mayor Valeria Cittadin and Deputy Mayor and Sports Councilor Andrea Bimbatti – is ready to welcome the Paralympic Flame, bearer of an even deeper message: sport as a means to overcome barriers, enhance differences, and promote equal opportunities. Its passage represents an opportunity to reaffirm the city's commitment to inclusion and support for sport for all."
March 6 will be a special day, seeing the participation of local authorities, the sports world, and volunteers, along with many citizens who wish to testify their closeness to the Paralympic values.
TECHNICAL ASPECTS
Route: from 09:00 to around 10:00 am starting from Viale Tre Martiri in front of the Police Headquarters, then passing through Viale della Pace, Viale Dante Alighieri, Corso del Popolo and ending at Viale Porta Po no. 2.
Additionally, there will be a moment of presentation of the Paralympic Flame with greetings from city authorities, at 8:30 am in Piazza Matteotti - Rovigo.
The event will feature the presence of 20 torchbearers who will each cover about 150 meters, and we would like to make the passage a celebration for the city, involving schools, associations, sports clubs, and all citizens, so that the torchbearers' journey becomes a moment of joy, participation, and inclusion.

Am 6. März von 9 bis etwa 10 Uhr wird die "Paralympische Flamme Milano-Cortina 2026" in die Stadt kommen, ein Symbol für Mut, Resilienz und Inklusion.
Der jüngste Durchgang der Olympischen Flamme hat Begeisterung und Stolz in der gesamten Gemeinschaft von Rovigo entfacht, wobei Bürger, Schulen, Verbände und Institutionen in einem Fest- und Gemeinschaftsgeist eingebunden wurden.
"Jetzt ist Rovigo – erklären Bürgermeisterin Valeria Cittadin und der stellvertretende Bürgermeister und Sportreferent Andrea Bimbatti – bereit, die Paralympische Flamme zu empfangen, die eine noch tiefere Botschaft trägt: Sport als Instrument zur Überwindung von Barrieren, Wertschätzung von Unterschieden und Förderung von Chancengleichheit. Ihr Durchgang stellt eine Gelegenheit dar, das Engagement der Stadt für Inklusion und die Unterstützung des Sports für alle zu bekräftigen".
Der 6. März wird ein besonderer Tag sein, an dem die lokalen Behörden, die Sportwelt und das Ehrenamt teilnehmen werden, zusammen mit vielen Bürgern, die ihre Nähe zu den paralympischen Werten zeigen möchten.
TECHNISCHE ASPEKTE
Strecke: von 09:00 bis etwa 10:00 Uhr mit Start von Viale Tre Martiri vor der Questura, dann weiter über Viale della Pace, Viale Dante Alighieri, Corso del Popolo und endend in Viale Porta Po Nr. 2.
Außerdem ist ein Moment der Präsentation der paralympischen Flamme mit den Grüßen der Stadtbehörden um 8:30 Uhr auf der Piazza Matteotti - Rovigo geplant.
Die Veranstaltung sieht die Anwesenheit von 20 Fackelträgern vor, die jeweils etwa 150 Meter zurücklegen werden, und wir möchten den Durchgang zu einem Fest für die Stadt machen, indem wir Schulen, Verbände, Sportvereine und die gesamte Bürgerschaft einbeziehen, damit der Weg der Fackelträger zu einem Moment der Freude, Beteiligung und Inklusion wird.
