Domenica 1 e lunedì 2 novembre 2026, il Teatro San Bortolo di Rovigo ospita la nuova produzione del Teatro Umbro dei Burattini, intitolata "Il Piccolo Principe. Viaggio tra i pianeti".
Liberamente ispirato al celebre capolavoro di Antoine de Saint-Exupéry e alla pellicola cinematografica di Mark Osborne del 2015, lo spettacolo della durata di 75 minuti unisce la tradizione dei burattini in legno — grandi opere d'arte intagliate e dipinte a mano da un artigiano torinese — con un linguaggio moderno fatto di dialoghi dal vivo e canzoni originali composte dal musicista Giuliano Ciabatta, in arte "Paco" (noto per le sue collaborazioni con artisti del calibro di Lucio Dalla).
Con il patrocinio del Comune di Rovigo, la rappresentazione si rivolge in particolare alle giovani generazioni per veicolare un forte messaggio di integrazione sociale e di contrasto al bullismo, mantenendo vivo il valore dell'immaginazione e l'incanto di una delle storie più amate di tutti i tempi.

On Sunday, November 1 and Monday, November 2, 2026, the Teatro San Bortolo in Rovigo hosts the new production of the Teatro Umbro dei Burattini, titled "The Little Prince. Journey among the Planets".
Freely inspired by the famous masterpiece of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry and the 2015 film by Mark Osborne, the show, lasting 75 minutes, combines the tradition of wooden puppets — large works of art carved and hand-painted by a craftsman from Turin — with a modern language made of live dialogues and original songs composed by the musician Giuliano Ciabatta, known as "Paco" (famous for his collaborations with artists like Lucio Dalla).
With the patronage of the Municipality of Rovigo, the performance is particularly aimed at young generations to convey a strong message of social integration and a stance against bullying, while keeping alive the value of imagination and the enchantment of one of the most beloved stories of all time.

Frei inspiriert von dem berühmten Meisterwerk von Antoine de Saint-Exupéry und dem Film von Mark Osborne aus dem Jahr 2015, verbindet die 75-minütige Aufführung die Tradition der Holzpuppen — große Kunstwerke, die von einem torinesischen Handwerker geschnitzt und von Hand bemalt sind — mit einer modernen Sprache aus Live-Dialogen und originalen Liedern, komponiert vom Musiker Giuliano Ciabatta, Künstlername "Paco" (bekannt für seine Zusammenarbeit mit Künstlern wie Lucio Dalla).
Mit der Unterstützung der Gemeinde Rovigo richtet sich die Aufführung besonders an die jungen Generationen, um eine starke Botschaft für soziale Integration und gegen Mobbing zu vermitteln, während der Wert der Vorstellungskraft und der Zauber einer der meistgeliebten Geschichten aller Zeiten lebendig gehalten werden.
