L'appuntamento è dedicato all'approfondimento delle personalità e delle vicende che hanno legato indissolubilmente il proprio nome alla bieticoltura e all’industria saccarifera polesana.
L'incontro prevede gli interventi di tre relatori:
Luciano Saretto, con la relazione La barbabietola e il Polesine, storia di un felice rapporto;
Enzo Ortolan, con l'approfondimento Ottavio Munerati, vita e ricerche;
Franco Gennari, che interviene sul tema Lo zuccherificio.
Al termine degli interventi, il pubblico potrà ammirare l'esposizione di alcuni documenti storici della Cattedra Ambulante di Agricoltura per la Provincia di Rovigo, attualmente al centro di un'attività di schedatura e inventariazione conservata in Archivio.

The appointment is dedicated to exploring the personalities and events that have inextricably linked their names to beet cultivation and the sugar industry in Polesine.
The meeting will feature talks from three speakers:
Luciano Saretto, with the presentation The beetroot and Polesine, a history of a happy relationship;
Enzo Ortolan, with the deep dive Ottavio Munerati, life and research;
Franco Gennari, who will speak on the topic The sugar factory.
At the end of the presentations, the audience will be able to admire the exhibition of some historical documents from the Mobile Chair of Agriculture for the Province of Rovigo, currently at the center of a cataloging and inventory activity preserved in the Archive.

Die Veranstaltung widmet sich der Vertiefung der Persönlichkeiten und Ereignisse, die untrennbar mit dem Namen der Zuckerrübenproduktion und der Zuckerindustrie im Polesine verbunden sind.
Das Treffen umfasst die Beiträge dreier Referenten:
Luciano Saretto, mit dem Vortrag Die Zuckerrübe und das Polesine, eine Geschichte einer glücklichen Beziehung;
Enzo Ortolan, mit der Vertiefung Ottavio Munerati, Leben und Forschungen;
Franco Gennari, der zum Thema Die Zuckerfabrik spricht.
Am Ende der Vorträge kann das Publikum eine Ausstellung einiger historischer Dokumente der Wanderdozentur für Landwirtschaft der Provinz Rovigo bewundern, die derzeit im Zentrum einer Dokumentation und Inventarisierung im Archiv steht.
