TRA PIETRA, ACQUA E ATTIVITA’ UMANA: il paesaggio archeologico della Lessinia
Quattro cammini per scoprire la storia più antica della Lessinia attraverso le tracce lasciate dagli esseri umani nel paesaggio.
Dai primi uomini insediati tra grotte e alture, le attività stagionali fino all’incontro tra veronesi e cimbri, con Itinerari immersi nell’ambiente, dalle sorgenti selvagge agli Alti Pascoli. Ogni appuntamento intreccia natura, archeologia e memoria collettiva, per leggere il territorio come un archivio vivente, dove acqua e pietra custodiscono storie di migrazioni, lavoro, spiritualità e immaginazione.
1. TRA ACQUA E PIETRA: insediamenti umani in Lessinia centrale
Domenica 19 aprile 2026 – Cerro Veronese
Un itinerario per conoscere la storia di Cerro Veronese attraverso le tracce lasciate dagli esseri umani nella natura. Tra pietre, sorgenti e antichi percorsi, il cammino ricostruisce le prime forme di insediamento e il rapporto profondo tra comunità e paesaggio. Un viaggio nel tempo che rivela come acqua e roccia abbiano modellato la vita e l’immaginario della Lessinia centrale.
2. SANTI, ORCHI, SOLDATI: i grandi protagonisti della storia di antichi comuni cimbri
Domenica 21 giugno 2026 – Camposilvano e Azzarino
Un percorso nella natura per scoprire le vicende reali e leggendarie che hanno segnato la storia di Camposilvano e Azzarino. Figure sacre, creature fantastiche e memorie di conflitti si intrecciano in un paesaggio che conserva ancora oggi tracce di culture, paure e speranze.
Un cammino che unisce archeologia, mito e identità cimbra.
3. ALTO VAJO SQUARANTO: dove nasce l’acqua della Lessinia
Domenica 12 luglio – Boscochiesanuova e Roveré
In un luogo ancora selvaggio, sospeso sopra paesi e contrade, il percorso conduce alle sorgenti che alimentano il Vajo Squaranto. Qui l’acqua diventa protagonista: elemento vitale che ha visto migrazioni di popoli e ha modellato da una biodiversità unica, studiata dagli speziali. Un’esperienza immersiva tra geologia, storia naturale e memoria umana.
4. IL PRIMO PASCOLO DI ROVERÈ: i Parpari
Domenica 26 luglio –Conca dei Parpari, Roveré Veronese
Un cammino tra antichi mestieri e vita d’altura, dove la storia dei Parpari si intreccia con pastorizia, osterie e personaggi leggendari. Il paesaggio racconta secoli di vita comunitaria, di transumanze e di relazioni tra uomini e montagne. Un’occasione per riscoprire il primo pascolo di Roveré come luogo di incontro, lavoro e narrazione.

Four paths to discover the oldest history of Lessinia through the traces left by humans in the landscape.
From the first humans settled between caves and hills, seasonal activities, to the meeting between Veronese and Cimbri, with itineraries immersed in the environment, from wild springs to high pastures. Each event intertwines nature, archaeology, and collective memory, reading the territory as a living archive where water and stone preserve stories of migrations, work, spirituality, and imagination.
1. BETWEEN WATER AND STONE: human settlements in central Lessinia
Sunday, April 19, 2026 – Cerro Veronese
An itinerary to learn about the history of Cerro Veronese through the traces left by humans in nature. Among stones, springs, and ancient paths, the route reconstructs the first forms of settlement and the deep relationship between community and landscape. A journey through time that reveals how water and rock have shaped life and imagination in central Lessinia.
2. SAINTS, OGRESS, SOLDIERS: the great protagonists of the history of ancient Cimbri municipalities
Sunday, June 21, 2026 – Camposilvano and Azzarino
A path in nature to discover the real and legendary events that have marked the history of Camposilvano and Azzarino. Sacred figures, fantastic creatures, and memories of conflicts intertwine in a landscape that still bears traces of cultures, fears, and hopes.
A journey that unites archaeology, myth, and Cimbri identity.
3. ALTO VAJO SQUARANTO: where the water of Lessinia is born
Sunday, July 12 – Boscochiesanuova and Roveré
In a still wild place, suspended above towns and hamlets, the route leads to the springs that feed Vajo Squaranto. Here water becomes the protagonist: a vital element that has witnessed the migrations of peoples and has shaped a unique biodiversity, studied by apothecaries. An immersive experience among geology, natural history, and human memory.
4. THE FIRST PASTURE OF ROVERÈ: the Parpari
Sunday, July 26 – Conca dei Parpari, Roveré Veronese
A path between ancient trades and high-altitude life, where the history of the Parpari intertwines with shepherding, taverns, and legendary characters. The landscape tells of centuries of communal life, transhumance, and relationships between humans and mountains. An opportunity to rediscover the first pasture of Roveré as a meeting place, work, and storytelling.

ZWISCHEN STEIN, WASSER UND MENSCHLICHE AKTIVITÄT: die archäologische Landschaft der Lessinia
Vier Wege, um die älteste Geschichte der Lessinia durch die Spuren zu entdecken, die Menschen in der Landschaft hinterlassen haben.
Von den ersten Menschen, die zwischen Höhlen und Höhen siedelten, den saisonalen Aktivitäten bis hin zur Begegnung von Veronesen und Cimbri, mit Routen, die in die Natur eintauchen, von wilden Quellen bis zu den Hochweiden. Jeder Termin verknüpft Natur, Archäologie und kollektives Gedächtnis, um das Gebiet als lebendiges Archiv zu lesen, in dem Wasser und Stein Geschichten von Migrationen, Arbeit, Spiritualität und Vorstellungskraft bewahren.

Eine Route, um die Geschichte von Cerro Veronese durch die Spuren zu entdecken, die Menschen in der Natur hinterlassen haben. Zwischen Steinen, Quellen und alten Wegen rekonstruiert der Weg die ersten Formen der Siedlung und die tiefgehende Beziehung zwischen Gemeinschaft und Landschaft. Eine Zeitreise, die verrät, wie Wasser und Felsen das Leben und das Imaginäre der zentralen Lessinia geformt haben.
2. HEILIGE, UNGEHEUERE, SOLDATEN: die großen Protagonisten der Geschichte der alten Cimbergemeinden
Sonntag, 21. Juni 2026 – Camposilvano und Azzarino
Ein Naturweg, um die realen und legendären Ereignisse zu entdecken, die die Geschichte von Camposilvano und Azzarino geprägt haben. Heilige Figuren, fantastische Kreaturen und Erinnerungen an Konflikte verweben sich in einer Landschaft, die bis heute Spuren von Kulturen, Ängsten und Hoffnungen bewahrt.
Ein Weg, der Archäologie, Mythos und Cimberidentität vereint.
3. HOCHVAJO SQUARANTO: wo das Wasser der Lessinia geboren wird
Sonntag, 12. Juli – Boscochiesanuova und Roveré
In einem noch wilden Ort, hoch über Dörfern und Gegenden, führt der Weg zu den Quellen, die das Vajo Squaranto speisen. Hier wird Wasser zum Protagonisten: ein lebenswichtiges Element, das Migrationen von Völkern erlebt hat und eine einzigartige Biodiversität geformt hat, die von den Apothekerstudien erforscht wird. Ein immersives Erlebnis zwischen Geologie, Naturgeschichte und menschlichem Gedächtnis.
4. DIE ERSTE ALM VON ROVERÉ: die Parpari
Sonntag, 26. Juli – Conca dei Parpari, Roveré Veronese
Ein Weg zwischen alten Berufen und dem Leben in den Höhenlagen, wo die Geschichte der Parpari mit Viehzucht, Gaststätten und legendären Persönlichkeiten verwoben ist. Die Landschaft erzählt von Jahrhunderten des gemeinschaftlichen Lebens, von Wanderungen und von Beziehungen zwischen Mensch und Berge. Eine Gelegenheit, die erste Alm von Roveré als Ort der Begegnung, der Arbeit und des Erzählens neu zu entdecken.
