Gli Angoli Rustici, musei viventi con scene di vita del primo 900, hanno luogo l'ultima domenica di Aprile. Il Palio delle Contrade e la Sfilata Storica la prima domenica di maggio.

When we think of the market, the first thought that comes to mind is the large open spaces of the squares filled with stalls and mobile stands that are destined to remain empty as soon as the sales day is over.
Instead, it is a space for the exchange of colors, shapes, and cultures that captivates the visitor and transports them into a snapshot of life in the community that hosts that market... like a photo that remains unchanged over time and becomes a work of art.
The Palio di Romano, in its 52nd year, wants to gift you “El marcà”, a meeting and socialization place where we will show you how the agricultural world and the city met in the 1900s.
If you fancy a couple of eggs, you’ll know you need to head to Contrà Molinetto because there the saying goes “mejo un ovo unco che na gaina doman”.
If, on the other hand, you prefer herbs, you’ll know to rush to Contrà Carlessi and Pragalera because there’s no better place than mercà dee erbe to learn how to detox.
And if you want a coffee? Off to Contrà Cà Cornaro where the coffee non l’è sol che bon ma l’è anca mato.
But make sure, to arrive prepared, to stop by Contrà Zaghi to learn how to pareciarse pal marcà and with the cart loaded for the journey, hurry towards Contrà Farronati, Signori, and Valle to sell your goods in a classic dì de mercà.
