La tradizionale Mascorada nel paese di Laste di Rocca Pietore è il tipico carnevale ladino che si tramanda di generazione in generazione ed ogni anno viene impersonato dai giovani del territorio.
Le figure più rappresentative del carnevale sono sicuramente il Matacinch e il Lachè, vestiti interamente con fazzoletti colorati. Il Matacinch indossa un caratteristico e prezioso copricapo decorato con nastri colorati, piume e gioielli. Ad accompagnarli vi sono altri ruoli chiave come il capomascora, un distinto signore vestito molto elegante e le mascore de legn, personaggi che indossano maschere di legno realizzate a mano in rappresentanza dei vari caratteri, belli e brutti.
La sfilata è spesso accompagnata dal suono della fisarmonica che si confonde con i suoni dei campanacci portati dal Matacinch.
Programma:
Ore 15.00 - Raduno aperto a tutti (sia maschere tradizionali che non) in località Moè
Ore 16.00 - Nella piazza di Dagai si svolgerà il tradizionale e significativo rito del "Saut del Matacinch"
Ore 17.00 - Rinfresco con musica da ballo nella Sala dei Pompieri a Dagai.

The traditional Mascorada of the village of Laste di Rocca Pietore is the typical Ladino carnival that has been handed down from generation to generation and is staged every year by local young people.
The most representative figures of the carnival are definitely the Matacinch and the Lachè, dressed entirely in colorful handkerchiefs. The Matacinch wears a distinctive and precious headdress decorated with colorful ribbons, feathers and jewelry. Accompanying them are other key roles such as the capomascora, a distinguished gentleman dressed very elegantly, and the mascore de legn, characters wearing handmade wooden masks representing various characters, both beautiful and ugly.
The parade is often accompanied by the sound of the accordion mixed with the sound of cowbells carried by the Matacinch.
Event Program:
3 p.m. - Gathering open to all, traditional and non-traditional masks, in the Moè village
4 p.m. - The traditional and meaningful “Saut del Matacinch” ritual will take place in the Dagai square.
5 p.m. - Drink, food and dance music in the Sala dei Pompieri (in Dagai). Followed by... a funny dancing evening!
Die traditionelle Mascorada im Dorf Laste di Rocca Pietore ist der typische ladinische Karneval, der von Generation zu Generation weitergegeben wird und jedes Jahr von den jungen Leuten der Region verkörpert wird.
Die repräsentativsten Figuren des Karnevals sind sicherlich der Matacinch und der Lachè, die vollständig in bunten Tüchern gekleidet sind. Der Matacinch trägt einen charakteristischen und wertvollen Kopfschmuck, der mit bunten Bändern, Federn und Schmuckstücken dekoriert ist. Begleitet werden sie von weiteren Schlüsselrollen wie dem capomascora, einem distinguierten Herrn in eleganter Kleidung, und den mascore de legn, Figuren, die handgefertigte Holzmasken tragen, die verschiedene Charaktere, schöne und hässliche, repräsentieren.
Der Umzug wird oft vom Klang des Akkordeons begleitet, der sich mit den Geräuschen der Glocken vermischt, die der Matacinch trägt.
Programm:
15:00 Uhr - Treffen für alle (sowohl traditionelle Masken als auch nicht) an der Moè
16:00 Uhr - Auf dem Platz in Dagai findet der traditionelle und bedeutende Ritus des "Saut del Matacinch" statt.
17:00 Uhr - Erfrischung mit Tanzmusik im Saal der Feuerwehr in Dagai.
