Stonhaus ed i boschi di Mezzaselva di Roana - Altopiano di Asiago 7 Comuni
Evento co-finanziato dall’Amministrazione comunale di Roana e organizzato in collaborazione con la pro loco di Mezzaselva.
Partiamo da SelvArt per raggiungere Stonhaus, l’imponente dolina di crollo che la tradizione popolare identifica come la dimora dell’Orco di Mezzaselva. Da qui ci immergiamo in freschi boschi di abete e faggio, dove la natura racconta la propria straordinaria capacità di rinascere dopo la tempesta Vaia (2018).
Tra misteriose “sorgenti”, opere d’arte immerse nel verde e scenari modellati dall’acqua nel corso dei millenni, scopriremo il fascino del carsismo attraverso doline di crollo, campi carreggiati e altre sorprendenti forme del paesaggio.
Una mattinata tra natura, frescura, geologia e leggende, per lasciarsi affascinare da misteri nascosti nel cuore dell’Altopiano.
Prenotazione obbligatoria. Età minima: 7 anni.
DIFFICOLTÀ: assegnamo difficoltà 3 su una scala da 1 (facilissimo) a 5 (impegnativo)
Il percorso non presenta particolari difficoltà tecniche, è adatto a tutti e si sviluppa tra strade sterrate e sentieri di montagna. Il dislivello in salita è inferiore ai 300 m, non sono presenti tratti esposti eccetto la dolina di crollo.
DA PORTARE CON SÉ: scarponi da montagna, vestiario a strati adatto al clima montano, giacca impermeabile, zaino con acqua per tutta la durata dell’escursione, un piccolo snack come la frutta secca, crema solare, occhiali da sole, cappellino.
COSTO: 10€ per l’escursione guidata a persona. Gratis per i ragazzi sotto i 15 anni.

Stonhaus and the woods of Mezzaselva di Roana - Plateau of Asiago 7 Municipalities
Event co-financed by the municipal administration of Roana and organized in collaboration with the pro loco of Mezzaselva.
We start from SelvArt to reach Stonhaus, the impressive collapse basin that local tradition identifies as the dwelling of the Mezzaselva Ogre. From here, we immerse ourselves in cool forests of spruce and beech, where nature tells its extraordinary ability to be reborn after the Vaia storm (2018).
Among mysterious “springs”, artworks nestled in greenery, and landscapes shaped by water over millennia, we will discover the charm of karst topography through collapse basins, cart paths, and other surprising forms of the landscape.
A morning among nature, freshness, geology, and legends, to be captivated by secrets hidden in the heart of the Plateau.
Advance booking is required. Minimum age: 7 years.
DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty level of 3 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)
The route does not present particular technical difficulties, is suitable for everyone, and develops along dirt roads and mountain paths. The ascent elevation is less than 300 m, with no exposed sections except for the collapse basin.
WHAT TO BRING: mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, backpack with water for the entire duration of the hike, a small snack like dried fruit, sunscreen, sunglasses, cap.
COST: 10€ for the guided hike per person. Free for kids under 15 years old.

Veranstaltung co-finanziert von der Gemeinde Roana und organisiert in Zusammenarbeit mit der Pro Loco von Mezzaselva.
Wir starten von SelvArt, um Stonhaus zu erreichen, die imposante Einsturzsenke, die die Volksüberlieferung als die Heimstätte des Orco von Mezzaselva identifiziert. Von hier tauchen wir ein in frische Wälder aus Fichte und Buche, wo die Natur von ihrer außergewöhnlichen Fähigkeit erzählt, sich nach dem Sturm Vaia (2018) zu regenerieren.
Zwischen geheimnisvollen “Quellen”, Kunstwerken inmitten des Grüns und Landschaften, die im Laufe der Jahrtausende vom Wasser geformt wurden, entdecken wir den Reiz des Karst durch Einsenkungen, geschotterte Felder und weitere überraschende Formen der Landschaft.
Ein Morgen zwischen Natur, Frische, Geologie und Legenden, um sich von verborgenen Geheimnissen im Herzen des Hochplateaus verzaubern zu lassen.
Reservierung erforderlich. Mindestalter: 7 Jahre.
SCHWIERIGKEIT: Wir bewerten die Schwierigkeit mit 3 auf einer Skala von 1 (sehr leicht) bis 5 (herausfordernd)
Der Weg weist keine besonderen technischen Schwierigkeiten auf, ist für alle geeignet und verläuft über Schotterstraßen und Bergwege. >Der Aufstieg ist unter 300 m, es gibt keine exponierten Stellen, außer der Einsturzsenke.
MITZUBRINGEN: Wanderschuhe, Schichtenbekleidung passend zum Bergklima, wasserdichte Jacke, Rucksack mit Wasser für die gesamte Dauer der Exkursion, einen kleinen Snack wie Trockenfrüchte, Sonnencreme, Sonnenbrille, Mütze.
KOSTEN: 10€ für die geführte Exkursion pro Person. Kostenlos für Kinder unter 15 Jahren.
