Meta: Valle del Ghelpach e Valdassa - Canove di Roana - Altopiano di Asiago 7 Comuni
Evento co-finanziato dall’Amministrazione comunale di Roana e organizzato in collaborazione con la pro loco di Canove.
Percorrendo i sentieri dell’uomo primitivo e dell’orso delle caverne (Ursus spelaeus), scopriamo come la frequentazione della Valdassa e della Valle del Ghelpach sia sempre avvenuta nel corso della Storia. Luoghi dai toponimi come Shaff Kugela, una tettoia naturale che fu per secoli riparo per le greggi, Vivartal, e Chèrar ci ricordano l’importanza per i Cimbri di queste vie di collegamento per gli uomini e i suoi animali, per commerci e migrazioni tra la Pianura, l’alpe e l’oltralpe.
Non solo un viaggio nella storia, ma anche un’immersione nella natura delle valli di montagna dove ci si immerge in boschi misti di straordinaria bellezza, e dove il vocìo degli uccelli che salutano il sole riecheggia ed il profumo dei fiori ci avvolge….

DIFFICOLTÀ: assegnamo difficoltà 2 su una scala da 1 (facilissimo) a 5 (impegnativo)
Il percorso non presenta particolari difficoltà tecniche, è adatto a tutti. Parte dal centro del paese e si sviluppa tra strade sterrate e sentieri di montagna e qualche breve tratto di strada asfaltata poco trafficata. Il dislivello in salita è inferiore ai 230 m, non sono presenti tratti esposti.
DA PORTARE CON SÉ: scarponi da montagna, vestiario a strati adatto al clima montano (caldamente consigliati pantaloni lunghi), giacca impermeabile, zaino con acqua per tutta la durata dell’escursione, un piccolo snack come la frutta secca, crema solare, occhiali da sole, cappellino.
COSTO: 10€ per l’escursione guidata a persona. Gratis per i ragazzi sotto i 15 anni.

Walking through the pathways of primitive man and the cave bear (Ursus spelaeus), we discover how the settlement of Valdassa and Ghelpach Valley has always occurred throughout history. Places with toponyms like Shaff Kugela, a natural shelter that for centuries protected flocks, Vivartal, and Chèrar remind us of the importance for the Cimbri of these connecting routes for people and their animals, for trade and migrations between the Plain, the Alps, and beyond.
Not only a journey through history but also an immersion in the nature of the mountain valleys where one is enveloped in mixed woods of extraordinary beauty, and where the chatter of birds greeting the sun echoes and the fragrance of flowers surrounds us….
Reservation is mandatory.
DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty level of 2 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)
The route presents no particular technical difficulties, it is suitable for everyone. It starts from the center of the village and develops among dirt roads and mountain paths and some short stretches of little-trafficked asphalt road. The elevation gain is less than 230 m, and there are no exposed sections.
WHAT TO BRING: mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for mountain weather (long pants are highly recommended), waterproof jacket, backpack with water for the entire duration of the hike, a small snack like dried fruits, sunscreen, sunglasses, cap.
COST: 10€ for the guided hike per person. Free for children under 15 years old.

Auf den Pfaden des Urmenschen und des Höhlenbären (Ursus spelaeus) entdecken wir, wie die Besiedlung des Valdassa und des Ghelpach-Tals im Laufe der Geschichte unverändert blieb. Orte mit Namen wie Shaff Kugela, ein natürlicher Unterschlupf, der über Jahrhunderte als Schutz für das Vieh diente, Vivartal und Chèrar erinnern uns an die Bedeutung dieser Verbindungswege für die Cimbri, sowohl für Menschen als auch für Tiere, für Handel und Migration zwischen der Ebene, den Alpen und dem Jenseits.
Nicht nur eine Reise in die Geschichte, sondern auch ein Eintauchen in die Natur der Gebirgstäler, wo man sich in außergewöhnlich schönen Mischwäldern verliert, und wo das Gezwitscher der Vögel, die die Sonne begrüßen, widerhallt und der Duft der Blumen uns umhüllt….

ANSPRUCH: wir vergeben einen Anspruch von 2 auf einer Skala von 1 (sehr leicht) bis 5 (herausfordernd)
Die Strecke weist keine besonderen technischen Schwierigkeiten auf und ist für alle geeignet. Sie beginnt im Stadtzentrum und entwickelt sich zwischen Schotterstraßen und Bergpfaden sowie einigen kurzen Abschnitten wenig befahrener asphaltierter Straßen. >Der Höhenunterschied beträgt weniger als 230 m, exponierte Abschnitte sind nicht vorhanden.
MITBRINGEN: Wanderschuhe, Schichtenbekleidung geeignet für das Gebirgsklima (lange Hosen dringend empfohlen), wasserdichte Jacke, Rucksack mit Wasser für die gesamte Dauer der Exkursion, einen kleinen Snack wie Trockenfrüchte, Sonnencreme, Sonnenbrille, Hut.
KOSTEN: 10€ für die geführte Exkursion pro Person. Kostenlos für Kinder unter 15 Jahren.
