In un mondo sempre più veloce, il Comune di Riese Pio X e ItaloJob invitano a rallentare, ad ascoltare la musica in modo nuovo o come si faceva una volta. Sarà un momento per sé, per stare in silenzio, per riscoprire la bellezza della concentrazione e dell’ascolto vero.
Questo appuntamento è dedicato ai Massive Attack vs Mad Professor e al loro No Protection. No Protection è un album del 1995 in cui il celebre produttore Mad Professor rielabora in chiave dub tutto il secondo disco dei Massive Attack, trasformando le canzoni originali in paesaggi sonori più lenti, profondi e riverberati con groove ipnotici tipici della cultura soundsystem. Questo remix traccia per traccia accentua bassi e effetti, facendo emergere dettagli nascosti e creando una versione radicalmente diversa e sperimentale dell’album originale.
Non è un concerto, non è un dj set. È ascolto. E basta. Ti va di provare?

This event is dedicated to Massive Attack vs Mad Professor and their No Protection. No Protection is a 1995 album in which the renowned producer Mad Professor reinterprets the entire second album of the Massive Attack in a dub style, transforming the original songs into slower, deeper, and reverb-laden soundscapes with hypnotic grooves typical of soundsystem culture. This remix, track by track, accentuates bass and effects, bringing hidden details to the surface and creating a radically different and experimental version of the original album.
