Il Tempietto è dedicato alla Madonna del Carmelo. Fu costruito intorno al 1884 ed era conosciuto popolarmente come ‘l casel. Colpito durante la Grande Guerra nel 1917, crollò intorno al 1935 in seguito a un violento temporale. Fu ricostruito nel 1992 e donato al Comune dal dott. Nicolò Spada e dalla sig.ra Raffaella Augugliaro.
Era una delle mete preferite per la tradizionale scampagnata di Pasquetta.
Nei pressi si trova la Sala ristoro Spada.
A lovely scenic route leads to the Tempietto Spada, the shrine in the form of a little temple occupying a panoramic position with a stunning 360° view over the Quartier del Piave and Felettano.
Starting from the main square of Refrontolo, where you can leave your car, you take the footpath beside the square and follow the signs to the Tempietto Spada shrine and climb the little hill on which the shrine is perched against a backdrop of the Treviso Prealps. Then the path heads downhill again towards the village centre passing by the parish church of Santa Margherita, home to some delightful altar-pieces, including one from the school of Paris Bordon. The view from the churchyard extends all the way to the hills of Montello and to Monte Grappa. On the way back to the piazza you pass by the historic Villa Spada.
The shrine, which is dedicated to Our Lady of Mount Carmel, was built around 1884 and known locally as "‘l casel". Shelled in 1917, during the Great War, it collapsed completely in 1935 following a violent storm. It was rebuilt in 1992 and donated to the municipality by Nicolò Spada and Raffaella Augugliaro.
It was one of the favoured destinations for the traditional Easter Monday outing.
Nearby is the municipal room Sala Ristoro Spada.
Über einen eindrucksvollen Wanderweg gelangt man zum Tempietto Spada in herrlicher Panoramalage, wo sich rundum ein Ausblick auf Quartier del Piave und Felettano bietet.
Ausgehend von der Piazza in Refrontolo, auf der das Auto geparkt werden kann, biegt man in einen Fußpfad ein, der an dem Platz entlang verläuft, und folgt den Hinweisschildern zum „Tempietto Spada“. Man erreicht den Hügel mit dem kleinen Tempel, von dem aus man im Hintergrund die Trevisaner Voralpen bewundern kann; weiter geht es auf einem Sträßchen, das wiederum zur Altstadt hinunterführt – vorbei an der Pfarrkirche Santa Margherita, die einige bemerkenswerte Altarbilder beherbergt, darunter eines aus der Schule des Malers Paris Bordon. Auf dem Vorplatz der Kirche schweift der Blick bis nach Montello und zum Monte Grappa. Auf dem weiteren Weg in Richtung Piazza kommt man an der historischen Villa Spada vorbei.
Der kleine Tempel ist der Madonna del Carmelo (Gottesmutter vom Berge Karmel) geweiht. Er wurde um 1884 erbaut und wird von den Einheimischen „'l Casel“ genannt. Er wurde 1917 während des Ersten Weltkriegs von Bomben getroffen und stürzte etwa 1935 nach einem starken Gewitter ein. 1992 wurde er wieder aufgebaut und der Gemeinde von Dott. Nicolò Spada und Frau Raffaella Augugliaro als Schenkung überlassen.
Der Tempietto war früher ein beliebtes Ausflugsziel für die traditionelle Landpartie am Ostermontag.
In der Nähe befindet sich der Gemeinderaum Sala Ristoro Spada.
