Grazie alle visite guidate tattili iI Museo Gypsotheca Antonio Canova rende il proprio patrimonio artistico accessibile a tutte le persone cieche, ipovedenti e vedenti in chiave inclusiva: un percorso che permette di conoscere l’iter creativo dello Scultore attraverso le sculture custodite all’interno dell’atelier al piano terra di Casa Canova, oggi sede espositiva ricompresa nel complesso museale di Possagno. I visitatori saranno accompagnati dalle nostre educatrici alla scoperta del percorso dei materiali usati dall’Artista. L’esplorazione tattile prevede la visita assistita e la conoscenza della riproduzione di 4 busti che esplicitano il processo formativo seguito da Canova e da due sculture che replicano la bellissima Venere Italica.
Per saperne di più… Il Museo Gypsotheca Antonio Canova di Possagno è il luogo che custodisce lʼeredità storica e artistica del più grande scultore del periodo neoclassico.
Il complesso museale, uno dei primi del Veneto, è composto dalla Casa natale e dalla Gypsotheca, collocata nell’originale basilica e nell’ampliamento progettato da Carlo Scarpa, che raccoglie i modelli originali in gesso dai quali sono stati tradotti i marmi che oggi si trovano nei più importanti musei del mondo.
Nella Casa natale sono custodite le opere pittoriche, i disegni, e incisioni e gli effetti personali dell’artista.
Thanks to the tactile guided tours, the Gypsotheca Antonio Canova Museum makes its artistic heritage accessible to all blind, visually impaired, and sighted individuals in an inclusive way: a journey that allows one to understand the creative process of the Sculptor through the sculptures housed within the atelier on the ground floor of Casa Canova, now an exhibition venue included in the museum complex of Possagno. Visitors will be accompanied by our educators on a discovery of the materials used by the Artist. The tactile exploration includes an assisted visit and the opportunity to learn about the reproduction of 4 busts that illustrate the formative process followed by Canova and two sculptures that replicate the beautiful Venere Italica.

The museum complex, one of the first in Veneto, consists of the Birthplace and the Gypsotheca, located in the original basilica and in the extension designed by Carlo Scarpa, which houses the original plaster models from which the marbles that are now in the most important museums in the world were cast.
In the Birthplace, the artist's paintings, drawings, engravings, and personal effects are kept.
Dank der taktilen Führungen macht das Museo Gypsotheca Antonio Canova sein künstlerisches Erbe zugänglich für alle blinden, sehbehinderten und sehenden Personen in einem inklusiven Ansatz: ein Weg, der es ermöglicht, den kreativen Prozess des Bildhauers durch die Skulpturen, die sich im Atelier im Erdgeschoss von Casa Canova befinden, kennenzulernen, das heute ein Ausstellungssitz im Museumsensemble von Possagno ist. Die Besucher werden von unseren Pädagogen auf der Entdeckung des Weges der vom Künstler verwendeten Materialien begleitet. Die taktile Erkundung umfasst die assistierte Besichtigung und das Kennenlernen der Reproduktion von 4 Büsten, die den formenden Prozess verdeutlichen, dem Canova folgte, sowie von zwei Skulpturen, die die wunderschöne Italische Venus replizieren.

Das Museumsensemble, eines der ältesten in Venetien, besteht aus dem Geburtshaus und der Gypsotheca, die sich in der ursprünglichen Basilika und dem von Carlo Scarpa geplanten Erweiterungsbau befindet, der die Originalgipsmodelle beherbergt, aus denen die Marmorexemplare entstanden, die heute in den bedeutendsten Museen der Welt zu finden sind.
Im Geburtshaus sind die Gemälde, Zeichnungen, Druckgrafiken und persönlichen Effekte des Künstlers aufbewahrt.
