In collaborazione con Tema Cultura e il Comune di Possagno, torna il teatro nello splendido giardino di Casa Canova per una serata unica dedicata al dialogo tra teatro e scultura.
Giovani talenti del territorio trevigiano daranno vita a uno spettacolo che intreccia parola, movimento e forza espressiva, riportando in scena quei corpi, quella tensione e quell'ideale di bellezza che animano ancora oggi i capolavori di Antonio Canova.
Protagonista della serata sarà Cinisca, figura straordinaria dell'antichità, simbolo di determinazione, libertà e coraggio: un racconto che invita a riflettere sul corpo come strumento di espressione, emancipazione e conquista.
Programma della serata:
• ore 19:45 Apertura straordinaria del Museo
• ore 20:00 Visita guidata alla collezione permanente (facoltativa, su prenotazione) oppure possibilità di visita libera al Museo
• ore 21:00 Cinisca. La principessa che parlava ai cavalli: Cinisca, figlia di Archidamo II, re di Sparta, fu la prima donna della storia a conquistare una vittoria olimpica.
Attraverso teatro, danza e movimento, la figura di Cinisca dialoga idealmente con le opere di Canova, dove il corpo diventa linguaggio universale di energia, equilibrio e bellezza.
In collaboration with Tema Cultura and the Municipality of Possagno, theater returns to the splendid garden of Casa Canova for a unique evening dedicated to the dialogue between theater and sculpture.
Young talents from the Treviso area will bring to life a performance that weaves together word, movement, and expressive power, bringing back to the stage those bodies, that tension, and that ideal of beauty that still animate the masterpieces of Antonio Canova.
The protagonist of the evening will be Cinisca, an extraordinary figure of antiquity, a symbol of determination, freedom, and courage: a narrative that invites reflection on the body as a tool of expression, emancipation, and conquest.
Program for the evening:
• 7:45 p.m. Special opening of the Museum
• 8:00 p.m. Guided tour of the permanent collection (optional, by reservation) or the possibility of free visit to the Museum
• 9:00 p.m. Cinisca. The Princess Who Spoke to Horses: Cinisca, daughter of Archidamus II, King of Sparta, was the first woman in history to achieve an Olympic victory.
Through theater, dance, and movement, the figure of Cinisca ideally dialogues with the works of Canova, where the body becomes a universal language of energy, balance, and beauty.
In Zusammenarbeit mit Tema Cultura und der Gemeinde Possagno kehrt das Theater in den prächtigen Garten von Casa Canova zurück für einen einzigartigen Abend, der dem Dialog zwischen Theater und Skulptur gewidmet ist.
Junge Talente aus der Region Treviso werden ein Stück inszenieren, das Wort, Bewegung und expressive Kraft miteinander verwebt und dabei die Körper, die Spannung und das Ideal von Schönheit zurück auf die Bühne bringt, die noch heute die Meisterwerke von Antonio Canova animieren.
Protagonistin des Abends wird Cinisca sein, eine außergewöhnliche Figur der Antike, Symbol von Entschlossenheit, Freiheit und Mut: eine Erzählung, die zum Nachdenken über den Körper als Instrument der Ausdrucksweise, Emanzipation und Eroberung einlädt.
Programm des Abends:
• 19:45 Uhr Außerordentliche Eröffnung des Museums
• 20:00 Uhr Geführte Tour durch die ständige Sammlung (optional, mit Reservierung) oder Möglichkeit für einen freien Besuch des Museums
• 21:00 Uhr Cinisca. Die Prinzessin, die mit den Pferden sprach: Cinisca, Tochter von Archidamos II., König von Sparta, war die erste Frau der Geschichte, die einen olympischen Sieg errang.
Durch Theater, Tanz und Bewegung tritt die Figur der Cinisca idealerweise in Dialog mit den Werken von Canova, wo der Körper zur universellen Sprache von Energie, Gleichgewicht und Schönheit wird.
