Il Cineforum Quartier del Piave giunge alla sua ventottesima edizione e con la rassegna d'autunno si interroga sull'Intelligenza Aritificiale. Coltivare il dubbio può essere il modo giusto per affrontare un tema di così grande valenza antropologica, interrogandosi cioè con ponderatezza su questo sistema che è in grado di surrogare parte delle nostre scelte umane.
Il terzo appuntamento vede sullo schermo Sheep in the box. Quest'opera toccante e contemplativa diretta dal maestro giapponese Hirokazu Kore'eda, intreccia il dramma familiare con le tematiche della fantascienza filosofica. Ambientato in un Giappone del futuro prossimo, il film racconta la storia di Otone e Kensuke, una coppia segnata dal doloroso lutto per la perdita del figlio che sceglie di accogliere in casa Kakeru, un bambino androide dotato di intelligenza artificiale. In una reinterpretazione moderna e poetica del mito di Pinocchio, la pellicola esplora l'elaborazione del dolore, il confine tra ricordo e illusione e il legame emotivo che si instaura tra esseri umani e macchine.

The third appointment features on screen Sheep in the box. This touching and contemplative work directed by the Japanese master Hirokazu Kore'eda intertwines family drama with themes of philosophical science fiction. Set in a near-future Japan, the film tells the story of Otone and Kensuke, a couple marked by the painful grief of losing their child who choose to welcome into their home Kakeru, an android child equipped with artificial intelligence. In a modern and poetic reinterpretation of the Pinocchio myth, the film explores the processing of grief, the boundary between memory and illusion, and the emotional bond that forms between humans and machines.
Das Cineforum Quartier del Piave erreicht seine achtundzwanzigste Auflage und hinterfragt mit der Herbstreihe die Künstliche Intelligenz. Zweifel zu kultivieren kann der richtige Weg sein, um ein Thema von so großer anthropologischer Relevanz zu behandeln, nämlich mit Bedacht über dieses System nachzudenken, das in der Lage ist, einen Teil unserer menschlichen Entscheidungen zu ersetzen.
Der dritte Termin sieht auf dem Bildschirm Sheep in the box. Dieses bewegende und kontemplative Werk des japanischen Meisters Hirokazu Kore'eda verknüpft das Familiendrama mit den Themen der philosophischen Science-Fiction. In einem Japan der nahen Zukunft erzählt der Film die Geschichte von Otone und Kensuke, einem Paar, das vom schmerzlichen Verlust des Sohnes geprägt ist und sich entschließt, Kakeru, ein mit Künstlicher Intelligenz ausgestattetes Android-Kind, bei sich aufzunehmen.
