La Grande Desmontegada di Pedavena torna il 3 e 4 ottobre 2026 con un fine settimana dedicato alle tradizioni della montagna bellunese e al suggestivo rito della transumanza.
L’appuntamento celebra il ritorno degli animali dai pascoli d’alta quota alle stalle della vallata, trasformando un antico momento della vita rurale in una festa capace di coinvolgere abitanti e visitatori. Tra il profumo dei prodotti di malga, il suono dei campanacci e le atmosfere della montagna, Pedavena sarà animata da iniziative pensate per far conoscere e riscoprire il patrimonio agricolo e gastronomico del territorio.
Sarà un’occasione per incontrare produttori e artigiani locali, assaggiare formaggi, miele e avvicinarsi alle attività che da sempre caratterizzano la vita d’alpeggio. Non mancheranno momenti dedicati al mondo degli animali e ai mestieri di un tempo, con laboratori e attività legate alla lavorazione del latte, del miele, alla tosatura delle pecore e alla coltivazione delle erbe.
La manifestazione offrirà inoltre l’opportunità di conoscere più da vicino la storia centenaria della Fabbrica di Pedavena proponendo viste guidate allo stabilimento. Il momento più atteso sarà naturalmente la Grande Desmontegada, quando gli animali faranno ritorno verso la vallata accompagnati dal caratteristico tintinnio dei campanacci.

This appointment celebrates the return of animals from high-altitude pastures to the stables of the valley, transforming an ancient moment of rural life into a festival capable of involving locals and visitors alike. Amid the aroma of mountain dairy products, the sound of cowbells, and the mountain atmosphere, Pedavena will be alive with initiatives designed to showcase and rediscover the agricultural and culinary heritage of the area.
It will be an opportunity to meet local producers and artisans, taste cheeses, honey, and engage in activities that have always characterized alpine life. There will also be moments dedicated to the world of animals and the trades of the past, with workshops and activities related to the processing of milk, honey, sheep shearing, and herb cultivation.
The event will also offer the chance to get to know the centenary history of the Pedavena Brewery better by proposing guided tours of the facility. The most anticipated moment will naturally be the Great Desmontegada, when the animals return to the valley accompanied by the characteristic jingling of cowbells.

Die Große Desmontegada von Pedavena findet am 3. und 4. Oktober 2026 statt, mit einem Wochenende, das den Traditionen der bellunesischen Berge und dem beeindruckenden Ritual der Transhumanz gewidmet ist.
Das Event feiert die Rückkehr der Tiere von den Hochweiden zu den Ställen im Tal und verwandelt einen alten Moment des ländlichen Lebens in ein Fest, das Einheimische und Besucher einbezieht. Zwischen dem Duft von Alpprodukten, dem Klang der Glocken und der Atmosphäre der Berge wird Pedavena von Initiativen belebt, die darauf abzielen, das landwirtschaftliche und gastronomische Erbe der Region bekannt zu machen und wiederzuentdecken.
