In occasione di Shavuot, la festività ebraica che celebra il dono della Torah, il Museo della Padova Ebraica propone una visita tematica dedicata a tradizioni, significati e rituali legati a questo importante momento del calendario ebraico, che coincide con il periodo della mietitura dell’orzo, sul finire della primavera.
Due turni disponibili: ore 11.00 e ore 16.00
Il percorso sarà arricchito da un approfondimento sul Libro di Rut, letto ogni anno durante Shavuot: un testo di grande valore simbolico che racconta la forza, la lealtà e l’identità attraverso una delle figure femminili più significative della tradizione ebraica.
Al termine della visita è previsto un assaggio di formaggi kosher, alimento tipico associato a questa ricorrenza.
Sarà inoltre possibile completare l’esperienza con una visita guidata alla Sinagoga.
L’evento dura circa 1h 30 min ed è adatto ad ogni tipo di pubblico.

On the occasion of Shavuot, the Jewish holiday that celebrates the giving of the Torah, the Jewish Museum of Padua offers a thematic visit dedicated to traditions, meanings, and rituals related to this important moment in the Jewish calendar, which coincides with the barley harvest season at the end of spring.

The tour will be enriched by an in-depth exploration of the Book of Ruth, read every year during Shavuot: a text of great symbolic value that tells the story of strength, loyalty, and identity through one of the most significant female figures in Jewish tradition.
At the end of the visit, there will be a tasting of kosher cheeses, a typical food associated with this celebration.
It will also be possible to complete the experience with a guided tour of the Synagogue.
The event lasts about 1h 30 min and is suitable for all types of audiences.

Anlässlich von Schavuot, dem jüdischen Fest, das die Gabe der Tora feiert, bietet das Jüdische Museum von Padua eine thematische Führung an, die den Traditionen, Bedeutungen und Ritualen gewidmet ist, die mit diesem wichtigen Moment im jüdischen Kalender zusammenhängen, der mit der Erntezeit der Gerste am Ende des Frühlings zusammentrifft.
