Palazzo Liviano
Università di Padova
Il Palazzo del Liviano – così chiamato in onore dello storico Tito Livio – venne edificato, negli anni trenta del XX secolo, quale sede della Facoltà di Lettere e Filosofia dell’Università di Padova.
Il progetto è del grande architetto milanese Gio Ponti che curò anche l’arredamento del palazzo.
Il Liviano conserva al suo interno non pochi tesori: l’atrio affrescato da Massimo Campigli, la statua marmorea di Tito Livio opera di Arturo Martini, il Museo di Scienze Archeologiche e d’Arte sempre allestito da Gio Ponti e, non ultima, la Sala dei Giganti col suo straordinario ciclo di affreschi del XVI secolo.
Saranno accessibili per l’occasione:
- l'atrio del Palazzo, magnificamente affrescato, dove si trova una grandissima scultura dedicata a Tito Livio;
- la Sala dei Giganti, con i suoi maestosi affreschi cinquecenteschi;
- gli spazi del Museo di Scienze Archeologiche e d’Arte, appositamente creati da Gio Ponti tra il 1934 e il 1939

È possibile effettuare il tour in autonomia servendosi degli audio QRcode, posti lungo il percorso, utilizzando il proprio dispositivo.
L'ingresso con audio QRcode è possibile ogni primo sabato del mese a partire dalle ore 9:30 e con ultimo ingresso alle ore 12:30 ogni 30 minuti.
È necessario essere muniti di un proprio dispositivo elettronico (smartphone, tablet, ecc.) dotato di videocamera.
Sono consigliati auricolari o cuffie.

University of Padua
The Palazzo del Liviano – named in honor of the historian Titus Livius – was built in the 1930s of the 20th century as the seat of the Faculty of Arts and Philosophy of the University of Padua.
The project is by the great Milanese architect Gio Ponti, who also designed the furnishings of the palace.
The Liviano houses many treasures: the foyer frescoed by Massimo Campigli, the marble statue of Titus Livius by Arturo Martini, the Museum of Archaeological Sciences and Art, also designed by Gio Ponti, and, last but not least, the Hall of Giants with its extraordinary cycle of 16th-century frescoes.
Will be accessible for the occasion:
- the atrium of the Palace, magnificently frescoed, where there is a large sculpture dedicated to Titus Livius;
- the Hall of Giants, with its majestic 16th-century frescoes;
- the spaces of the Museum of Archaeological Sciences and Art, specially created by Gio Ponti between 1934 and 1939
Entrance with audio QR code
It is possible to take the tour independently using the audio QR codes placed along the route, using your own device.
Entrance with audio QR code is available every first Saturday of the month starting from 9:30 AM and with the last entrance at 12:30 PM every 30 minutes.
You need to have your own electronic device (smartphone, tablet, etc.) equipped with a camera.
Headphones or earphones are recommended.

Der Palazzo del Liviano – so benannt zu Ehren des Historikers Titus Livius – wurde in den 1930er Jahren des 20. Jahrhunderts als Sitz der Fakultät für Literatur und Philosophie der Universität Padua erbaut.
Das Projekt stammt von dem großen Mailänder Architekten Gio Ponti, der auch die Inneneinrichtung des Palazzo gestaltete.
Im Liviano befinden sich zahlreiche Schätze: das mit Fresken von Massimo Campigli geschmückte Atrium, die marmorene Statue von Titus Livius, die von Arturo Martini geschaffen wurde, das Museum für Archäologische Wissenschaften und Kunst, das ebenfalls von Gio Ponti eingerichtet wurde, und nicht zuletzt der Sala dei Giganti mit seinem außergewöhnlichen Zyklus von Fresken aus dem 16. Jahrhundert.
Sind für die Gelegenheit zugänglich:
- das Atrium des Palast, großartig mit Fresken geschmückt, wo sich eine riesige Skulptur zu Ehren von Titus Livius befindet;
- der Sala dei Giganti, mit seinen majestätischen freskalen aus dem 16. Jahrhundert;
- die Räume des Museums für Archäologische Wissenschaften und Kunst, die speziell von Gio Ponti zwischen 1934 und 1939 geschaffen wurden

Es ist möglich, die Tour autonom mit den entlang des Weges platzierten Audio-QR-Codes zu machen, indem Sie Ihr eigenes Gerät verwenden.
Der Eintritt mit Audio-QR-Code ist jeden ersten Samstag im Monat von 09:30 Uhr bis 12:30 Uhr alle 30 Minuten möglich.
Es ist notwendig, ein eigenes elektronisches Gerät (Smartphone, Tablet usw.) mit Kamera zu haben.
Es wird empfohlen, Kopfhörer oder Ohrhörer mitzunehmen.
