Nell’ambito di POMERIGGI D'ARTE A PADOVA “Misteri & Simboli in Città” Ottobre 2025-aprile 2026 l’associazione Fantalica APS ETS propone la visita guidata a Palazzo Cavalli a Padova.
La quarta tappa di approfondimento storico fa parte della rassegna POMERIGGI D'ARTE A PADOVA patrocinata dalla Regione del Veneto e dal Comune di Padova, che porterà i cittadini a scoprire in modo inedito e multidisciplinare il nostro patrimonio culturale locale.
Il filo conduttore che accomunerà i numerosi eventi proposti da ottobre 2025 ad aprile 2026 è la scoperta di complessi monumentali che meglio conservano e testimoniano le simbologie e significati collegabili alla storia della città, con le sue tradizioni e credenze.
Ogni incontro, visita, laboratorio e spettacolo vuole far riscoprire ai cittadini la propria città attraverso “I Misteri & Simboli”, in modo da condurre il partecipante a conoscere luoghi più o meno noti attraverso un taglio originale e insolito. .
Il programma del 25 gennaio 2026 prevede la visita a Palazzo Cavalli, una struttura cinquecentesca con una splendida decorazione a fresco e stucco che risale alla metà del Seicento.
Un’attenzione particolare va alla profusione decorativa dell’atrio con il ciclo dedicato alle Metamorfosi Ovidiane, mentre nelle stanze contigue Michele Primon ha raffigurato episodi ispirati alla storia antica.
Palazzo Cavalli si erge come custode di storie antiche e celate, la cui architettura riflette la razionalità e l’armonia della metà del Cinquecento, quando il casato Cavalli, ne commissionò la costruzione come testimonianza della propria ascesa sociale e culturale.
Nel Seicento le pareti del palazzo si animano di vita nuova, grazie a un sontuoso ciclo di affreschi barocchi: illusioni ottiche, metamorfosi mitologiche, simbologie araldiche e morali si intrecciano in una narrazione continua.
La visita guidata sarà a cura del dott. Giuseppe Cilione e della dott.ssa Pavanello, con particolare attenzione agli affreschi della Sala delle Storie Bibliche dove la narrazione incontra la scienza, suggerendo un’eco delle riflessioni che avrebbero condotto Darwin alla sua rivoluzionaria teoria dell’evoluzione.
Il culmine dell’esperienza si svela nello Scalone d’Onore, dove gli affreschi rivelano un percorso simbolico, introducendo inizialmente l’arte e la tragedia, per poi concludersi con la rivelazione del cielo e della terra. Palazzo Cavalli non è solo una dimora storica: è un palinsesto di visioni, un dialogo fra passato e futuro, fra umano e divino.

As part of THE ART AFTERNOONS IN PADOVA “Mysteries & Symbols in the City” October 2025-April 2026, the Fantalica APS ETS association proposes a guided tour of Palazzo Cavalli in Padova.
The fourth stage of historical in-depth analysis is part of the exhibition THE ART AFTERNOONS IN PADOVA, sponsored by the Veneto Region and the Municipality of Padova, which will lead citizens to discover our local cultural heritage in a new and multidisciplinary way.
The guiding thread that will connect the numerous events proposed from October 2025 to April 2026 is the discovery of monumental complexes that best preserve and testify to the symbologies and meanings associated with the city's history, with its traditions and beliefs.
Each meeting, visit, workshop, and performance aims to help citizens rediscover their city through “The Mysteries & Symbols,” guiding participants to learn about more or less known places through an original and unusual perspective.
The program for January 25, 2026, includes a visit to Palazzo Cavalli, a sixteenth-century structure with a splendid fresco and stucco decoration dating back to the mid-seventeenth century.
Particular attention is paid to the decorative profusion of the atrium with the cycle dedicated to Ovidian Metamorphoses, while in the adjacent rooms, Michele Primon has depicted episodes inspired by ancient history.
Palazzo Cavalli stands as a guardian of ancient and hidden stories, whose architecture reflects the rationality and harmony of the mid-sixteenth century, when the Cavalli family commissioned its construction as a testament to their social and cultural ascent.
In the seventeenth century, the palace's walls come to life with new vigor, thanks to a sumptuous cycle of Baroque frescoes: optical illusions, mythological metamorphoses, heraldic and moral symbols intertwine in a continuous narrative.
The guided tour will be led by Dr. Giuseppe Cilione and Dr. Pavanello, with particular attention to the frescoes of the Hall of Biblical Stories, where narration meets science, suggesting an echo of the reflections that would lead Darwin to his revolutionary theory of evolution.
The climax of the experience unfolds in the Honor Staircase, where the frescoes reveal a symbolic path, initially introducing art and tragedy, and concluding with the revelation of heaven and earth. Palazzo Cavalli is not just a historic residence: it is a palimpsest of visions, a dialogue between past and future, between human and divine.

Im Rahmen der KUNST-NACHMITTAGE IN PADOVA „Mysterien & Symbole in der Stadt“ von Oktober 2025 bis April 2026 schlägt die Vereinigung Fantalica APS ETS die Führung durch den Palazzo Cavalli in Padova vor.
Die vierte Etappe der historischen Vertiefung ist Teil der Veranstaltung KUNST-NACHMITTAGE IN PADOVA, gefördert von der Region Venetien und der Gemeinde Padova, die die Bürger auf eine neuartige, multidisziplinäre Entdeckungsreise durch unser lokales Kulturerbe mitnimmt.
Der gemeinsame Faden, der die zahlreichen Veranstaltungen von Oktober 2025 bis April 2026 verbindet, ist die Entdeckung monumentaler Komplexe, die die Symbolik und Bedeutungen, die mit der Geschichte der Stadt verbunden sind, am besten bewahren und bezeugen, mitsamt ihren Traditionen und Überzeugungen.
Jede Begegnung, jeder Besuch, jedes Labor und jede Vorstellung sollen den Bürgern helfen, ihre eigene Stadt durch „Die Mysterien & Symbole“ neu zu entdecken, um die Teilnehmer auf einen originalen und ungewöhnlichen Weg durch mehr oder weniger bekannte Orte zu führen.
Das Programm für den 25. Januar 2026 sieht einen Besuch im Palazzo Cavalli vor, einem Bauwerk aus dem 16. Jahrhundert mit prachtvollen Fresken- und Stuckdekorationen, die auf die Mitte des 17. Jahrhunderts zurückgehen.
Besonderes Augenmerk gilt der üppigen Dekoration des Atriums mit dem Zyklus, der den Ovidischen Metamorphosen gewidmet ist, während im angrenzenden Raum Michele Primon Episoden aus der antiken Geschichte dargestellt hat.
Palazzo Cavalli erhebt sich als Hüter verborgener und alter Geschichten, dessen Architektur die Rationalität und Harmonie der Mitte des 16. Jahrhunderts widerspiegelt, als das Haus Cavalli den Bau in Auftrag gab, um seine soziale und kulturelle Aufstiegsgeschichte zu dokumentieren.
Im 17. Jahrhundert erlangen die Wände des Palazzo neues Leben durch einen prächtigen Zyklus barocker Fresken: optische Illusionen, mythologische Metamorphosen, heraldische und moralische Symbolik verweben sich in einer kontinuierlichen Erzählung.
Die Führung wird von Dr. Giuseppe Cilione und Dr. Pavanello geleitet, mit besonderem Augenmerk auf die Fresken im Saal der biblischen Geschichten, wo die Erzählung auf die Wissenschaft trifft und ein Echo der Überlegungen andeutet, die Darwin zu seiner revolutionären Evolutionstheorie führten.
Der Höhepunkt des Erlebnisses offenbart sich in der Ehrenstiege, wo die Fresken einen symbolischen Weg enthüllen, der zunächst die Kunst und die Tragödie einführt, um schließlich mit der Offenbarung des Himmels und der Erde zu enden. Palazzo Cavalli ist nicht nur ein historisches Domizil: es ist ein Palimpsest der Visionen, ein Dialog zwischen Vergangenheit und Zukunft, zwischen Menschlichem und Göttlichem.
