Padovanità propone per gli oltre 800 anni di gloriosa storia del nostro amato ateneo questa interessante visita a Palazzo del Bo, uno dei complessi edilizi più grandi e importanti di Padova, e sede universitaria già a fine Quattrocento.
Il palazzo si compone di due corpi di fabbrica. Il primo si articola intorno al cosiddetto Cortile Antico, realizzato a partire dal 1547, occupato in epoca medievale dall’Hospitium Bovis, una locanda collocata nella zona delle beccherie, ovvero delle macellerie. In ragione delle sue origini, Palazzo del Bo ha mantenuto nel suo nome l’antico appellativo di questo spazio.
La visita,con una guida completamente a nostra disposizione, inizierà dalla biglietteria in Cortile Nuovo e proseguirà all'interno del Palazzo del Bo passando per il teatro anatomico, la cattedra di Galileo Galilei, apprezzando la parte cinquecentesca e poi quella novecentesca (Bo Grande).

Padovanità offers this interesting visit to Palazzo del Bo for the over 800 years of glorious history of our beloved university, one of the largest and most important building complexes in Padua, which has been a university seat since the late 15th century.
The palace consists of two building blocks. The first is organized around the so-called Old Courtyard, constructed starting in 1547, which was occupied in medieval times by the Hospitium Bovis, an inn located in the area of the butcher shops. Due to its origins, Palazzo del Bo has retained the ancient name of this space.
The visit, with a guide completely at our disposal, will begin from the ticket office in the New Courtyard and will continue inside Palazzo del Bo, passing through the anatomical theater, Galileo Galilei's chair, appreciating the 16th-century section and then the 20th-century section (Bo Grande).

Padovanità schlägt für die über 800 Jahre glorreiche Geschichte unserer geliebten Universität diesen interessanten Besuch im Palazzo del Bo vor, einem der größten und wichtigsten Gebäudekomplexe in Padua und seit Ende des 15. Jahrhunderts eine Universitätsstätte.
Der Palast besteht aus zwei Gebäudeteilen. Der erste ist um den sogenannten Cortile Antico angeordnet, der ab 1547 errichtet wurde und im Mittelalter vom Hospitium Bovis, einer Herberge in der Nähe der Metzgereien, genutzt wurde. Aufgrund seiner Ursprünge hat der Palazzo del Bo im Namen den alten Begriff dieses Raumes beibehalten.
Der Besuch, mit einem Führer, der uns vollständig zur Verfügung steht, beginnt an der Kasse im Cortile Nuovo und führt im Inneren des Palazzo del Bo durch das anatomische Theater, den Lehrstuhl von Galileo Galilei, wobei wir den Teil aus dem 16. Jahrhundert und dann den aus dem 20. Jahrhundert (Bo Grande) bestaunen.
