Proseguiamo nella visita dei siti Unesco di Padova Urbs Picta, accompagnandovi ad ammirare la Reggia Carrarese, splendido esempio di architettura e pittura del '300. La doppia loggia dell'Accademia e le stanze adiacenti, la cui costruzione terminò nel 1343, costituivano l'abitazione dei Principi. Le slanciate ed eleganti colonne di marmo roseo veronese, impreziosite dall'uso di architravi in legno, accolgono il visitatore verso quello che un tempo era un luogo di preghiera e di raccoglimento. La Loggia esterna fu allora chiusa e ridotta a Cappella, che il Guariento affrescò tra il 1355 e il 1360 con le scene del Vecchio Testamento.

We continue the visit of the UNESCO sites of Padua Urbs Picta, accompanying you to admire the Carrarese Palace, a splendid example of 14th-century architecture and painting. The double loggia of the Academy and the adjacent rooms, whose construction was completed in 1343, constituted the residence of the Princes. The slender and elegant columns of pink Veronese marble, embellished with wooden lintels, welcome visitors to what was once a place of prayer and contemplation. The external Loggia was then closed and reduced to a Chapel, which Guariento frescoed between 1355 and 1360 with scenes from the Old Testament.

Wir setzen unseren Besuch der UNESCO-Stätten von Padua Urbs Picta fort und laden Sie ein, die Reggia Carrarese, ein wunderbares Beispiel für Architektur und Malerei des 14. Jahrhunderts, zu bewundern. Die doppelte Loggia der Akademie und die angrenzenden Zimmer, deren Bau 1343 abgeschlossen wurde, bildeten die Wohnung der Prinzen. Die schlanken und eleganten Säulen aus rosafarbenem Veroneser Marmor, veredelt durch die Verwendung von Holzbalken, empfangen den Besucher in einem Raum, der einst ein Ort des Gebets und der Andacht war. Die äußere Loggia wurde dann geschlossen und zu einer Kapelle umgebaut, die Guariento zwischen 1355 und 1360 mit Szenen aus dem Alten Testament freskierte.
