La partenza è prevista dallo Stadio Euganeo, poi attraversamento dei comuni della cintura urbana fino all’arrivo in Prato della Valle per il gran finale.
Quando, in prossimità del traguardo, ti si spalanca davanti Prato della Valle in tutta la sua magnificenza, l’emozione è indescrivibile. Ma non è solo il tratto finale del percorso a rendere unica la Padova Marathon: è l’intero territorio che fa da sfondo all’evento.
Le vulcaniche terre collinari bonificate dai monaci, il suggestivo ingresso ad Abano, lì dove l’acqua termale sgorga fin dalla preistoria. E poi il ritorno attraverso la parte più turistica della città, col passaggio davanti alla Basilica di Sant’Antonio.
Nel cuore della “bella Padova, culla delle arti” cantata da Shakespeare.

5 race distances, 6,000 competitive runners, and over 35,000 participants in the Stracittadine and 10Crono races. These are the figures for the Padova Marathon, a major event on the international running calendar, but also a huge public celebration.
The race starts at the Stadio Euganeo, then winds through the towns in the city’s outskirts before reaching the finish line at Prato della Valle for the grand finale.
When, as you approach the finish line, Prato della Valle opens up before you in all its magnificence, the emotion is indescribable. But it is not just the final stretch of the route that makes the Padova Marathon unique: it is the entire region that forms the backdrop to the event.
The volcanic, hilly lands reclaimed by monks, the picturesque entrance to Abano, where thermal waters have been flowing since prehistoric times. And then the return through the most touristy part of the city, passing in front of the Basilica of Saint Anthony.
In the heart of ‘beautiful Padua, cradle of the arts’, as sung by Shakespeare.

Der Start erfolgt im Stadion Euganeo, dann geht es durch die Gemeinden des Stadtrands bis zum Ziel auf dem Prato della Valle für das große Finale.
Wenn sich dir kurz vor dem Ziel der Prato della Valle in seiner ganzen Pracht entfaltet, ist die Emotion unbeschreiblich. Aber nicht nur der finale Streckenabschnitt macht die Padova Marathon einzigartig: es ist das gesamte Gebiet, das den Rahmen für das Event bildet.
Die vulkanischen Hügelgebiete, die von Mönchen trockengelegt wurden, der eindrucksvolle Eingang nach Abano, wo das Thermalwasser seit der Urgeschichte sprudelt. Und dann die Rückkehr durch den touristischsten Teil der Stadt, vorbei an der Basilika des Heiligen Antonius.
