Padova città d'acque: le Riviere e il Naviglio nascosto - Sabato 14 Febbraio 2026
Il Naviglio interno, in gran parte ormai interrato dopo gli interventi fatti tra il 1955 e il 1960, si dipana semi-nascosto tra le mura medievali e i più disparati palazzi della nostra amata Padova. Ascoltando le dettagliate argomentazioni della guida, si seguiranno le antiche tracce della canalizzazione, partendo dalle Porte Contarine e arrivando fino al Ponte delle Torricelle, avendo così modo di immergerci in incantevoli e inusuali scorci di una Padova d’altri tempi. Sarà un’occasione unica e irripetibile per fare un importante viaggio nel tempo: percorrere le Riviere Tito Livio, Ponti Romani, Beldomandi (ora Largo Europa) significa misurarsi coi principali capitoli dei 3143 anni di storia di Padova: dalla sua leggendaria fondazione nel 1118 a.C., sino al presente.

The Naviglio Interno, now largely filled in after renovations carried out between 1955 and 1960, winds half-hidden between the medieval walls and the diverse buildings of our beloved Padua. Listening to the guide's detailed explanations, we will follow the ancient canal tracks, starting from the Porte Contarine and arriving at the Ponte delle Torricelle, thus immersing ourselves in enchanting and unusual glimpses of Padua from times gone by. It will be a unique and unrepeatable opportunity to take a significant journey through time: walking along the Riviere Tito Livio, Ponti Romani, and Beldomandi (now Largo Europa) means engaging with the main chapters of Padua's 3,143-year history: from its legendary foundation in 1118 BC to the present.
Meet at 2:50 PM sharp at the Porte Contarine.
The tour lasts approximately 2 hours. Comfortable shoes are recommended.
A contribution of €12 per participant is required (€10 for members); €6 for children under 12.

Der innere Naviglio, der größtenteils nach den Arbeiten zwischen 1955 und 1960 vergraben wurde, schlängelt sich halb verborgen zwischen den mittelalterlichen Mauern und den unterschiedlichsten Palästen unseres geliebten Padovas. Während wir den detaillierten Ausführungen der Führung lauschen, folgen wir den alten Spuren der Kanalisierung, beginnend bei den Porte Contarine bis zur Ponte delle Torricelle, und haben so die Möglichkeit, in bezaubernde und ungewöhnliche Ausblicke auf ein Padova vergangener Zeiten einzutauchen. Es wird eine einzigartige und unvergessliche Gelegenheit sein, eine wichtige Zeitreise zu unternehmen: Die Riviere Tito Livio, Romantische Brücken, Beldomandi (jetzt Largo Europa) zu erkunden, bedeutet, sich mit den wichtigsten Kapiteln der 3143-jährigen Geschichte Padovas auseinanderzusetzen: von seiner legendären Gründung im Jahr 1118 v. Chr. bis zur Gegenwart.
