L'artista milanese Donatella Izzo ripercorre e rinnova una delle ricerche più coerenti e radicali sul tema del volto e dell'identità femminile nell'arte contemporanea, con una mostra personale, a cura di Fabio Cosentino, nella galleria padovana.
La mostra alla Black Light Gallery segna una tappa importante: non solo celebrazione del decennio di ricerca, ma momento di sintesi e di rilancio di un progetto che mette in discussione il concetto stesso di ritratto fotografico.
La mostra è anche un'occasione per l'artista di presentare al pubblico il nuovo progetto "PostEden" nella quale le fotografie della Izzo concepiscono e delineano l'opera come un territorio di riconciliazione in cui la NATURA "vince" ma non eliminando l'uomo, piuttosto inglobando in sé il frutto dell'artificio che l'uomo ha creato. Il progetto si situa sulla soglia di un mondo trasformato, dove la purezza della Natura è mutata per lasciare il posto a una nuova, complessa forma di esistenza.

The Milanese artist Donatella Izzo revisits and renews one of the most coherent and radical explorations of the theme of the face and female identity in contemporary art, with a solo exhibition curated by Fabio Cosentino, at the Padua gallery.
The exhibition at Black Light Gallery marks an important milestone: not only a celebration of a decade of research, but a moment of synthesis and revitalization of a project that questions the very concept of photographic portraiture.
The exhibition is also an opportunity for the artist to present to the public the new project "PostEden" in which Izzo's photographs conceive and outline the work as a territory of reconciliation where NATURE "wins" but does not eliminate man, rather incorporating the fruit of the artifice that man has created. The project sits on the threshold of a transformed world, where the purity of Nature has changed to make way for a new, complex form of existence.

Die Mailänder Künstlerin Donatella Izzo verfolgt und erneuert eine der kohärentesten und radikalsten Forschungen zum Thema Gesicht und weibliche Identität in der zeitgenössischen Kunst mit einer Einzelausstellung, kuratiert von Fabio Cosentino, in der Paduaer Galerie.
Die Ausstellung in der Black Light Gallery markiert einen wichtigen Schritt: nicht nur eine Feier des Jahrzehnts der Forschung, sondern auch ein Moment der Synthese und der Erneuerung eines Projekts, das das Konzept des fotografischen Porträts in Frage stellt.
Die Ausstellung ist auch eine Gelegenheit für die Künstlerin, dem Publikum das neue Projekt "PostEden" vorzustellen, in dem die Fotografien von Izzo das Werk als ein Gebiet der Versöhnung konzipieren und umreißen, in dem die NATUR "gewinnt", aber nicht den Menschen ausschließt, sondern vielmehr das Produkt des Kunstwerks, das der Mensch geschaffen hat, in sich aufnimmt. Das Projekt befindet sich an der Schwelle einer verwandelten Welt, in der die Reinheit der Natur sich verändert hat, um einem neuen, komplexen Lebensform Platz zu machen.
